Either you get audio dropping out on the livestreams or you get archives with audio out of sync and have to wait longer for it to be fixed. :( What's changed from when both were fine?

@james_hayward: The Lobby is pretty good although they play through a lot of games that I've already seen full Quick looks to so I don't tune in as often. The Point on the other hand is amazing considering it's just Andy and Danny producing it - and Danny said they get no budget for it either. Between GiantBomb and GameSpot, The Point is probably my favorite piece of content.

Set 0.3000 s sound delay in VLC and it should be fine.

To be fair, that unicorn thing is something that you get as an unlock for beating the game. I wouldn't really use that as a reason not to play through it.

On the other hand, the game just isn't that great in general. I mean, it's not awful, but there are so many better games out there. Armageddon was just a disappointment. That's probably a better reason for not playing it. :)

These audio sync issues have been occurring a bit more of late. Only a minor annoyance but still curious.

Being made by the same studio means nothing in this instance. Most of the jokes in Saints Row have some sort of substance behind them which make them funny. Being forced to drive a tiger around? Not funny by itself. Being forced to drive a tiger around by a character voiced by Rocky 3's Hulk Hogan while keeping track of an animal rage meter? That's funny.

Meanwhile, a farting unicorn that makes orgasm faces for no reason is just outrageous and lazy. The only joke is "Bronies right?". It's the difference between sex jokes in Two and a Half Men and sex jokes in Louie. They both might be crude, but one of them has a lot more effort put behind them.

Just a heads up, changed my audio time shift to about 300ms and that seemed to solve the audio sync problem. For anyone who has a player with ability.

I played through the original Red Faction on the PS2 or Xbox only a few years after it came out and I thought it was pretty mediocre. It's actually mindblowing that the series managed to make it to 4 games, with the 3rd game being the best.

Most videos have been out of sync a lot lately. This and the last couple of vinnyvania videos have been out of sync. What's going on?

Heh, yeah, and then the mouse and keyboard needed one IRQ each too, I remember my 3Com ISA Ethernet card conflicting with my serial port mouse for a while, causing crashes if I didn't navigate the web browser using the keyboard.

I miss professional Wednesdays and Thursday night throwdown. :(

Oh God. I remember having to make a HyperCard presentation for school in grade seven. It was on the French World Cup, so must have been 1998?

I had no idea how identifiable "neutral" Canadian accents are until everyone in this vid and the QL of golf club all said it. We sound normal I tell you, it's the newfies who have the thick accents!
