Even Virtua Fighter 1 is leaps and bounds superior in gameplay.

Bad fighting games are the worst things to watch.

Disappointed with the lack of Tombi! and Crime Killer. Well, PS1 staples for me at least.

Ehh they could've picked Tenchu, the best set of ninja games ;) My favourite PS1 games.

Peter knows his stuff. Great guest. Could listen to him and Jeff talk games all day. Nice boost of energy compared to Brad and Rorie who usually sleep through UPF :p

That sound chip is no joke.

The pure joy on brad's face when they were playing vib ribbon warmed my heart to the core

I love it when Giant Bomb hooks up a classic system and Jeff pulls out a tub o' carts (or CDs). Wish they'd do it more often!

Having only the perspective of retrospect (having never played it myself when it came out) I'm not convinced of Syphon Filter one bit. That game looks like such an also-ran, especially looking back. It's to its credit it has something weird about it even if it is that janky run animation.

Holy shit, that sound chip made those Konami drums somehow even more Konami drum-esque as fuck.

Never heard this before, I love it.

I hope Jeff's PlayStation box can be a recurring thing. I would guess that, seeing how many weird titles that console pumped out, this would fit perfectly for giantbomb.

Sega and Nintendo consoles has the nostalgia market on lockdown on youtube and such, so I vote for a change.

I'm happy to finally see Vib Ribbon. Though I REALLY want Gitaroo Man 2. Or more Bust a Groove.
