Rorie... Fallout 4's UI... it is definitely not designed with PC in mind, but it's perfectly usable. Use E for Enter prompts. Esc is for exiting build mode.

Seriously, it's not good, but it's worth the price to play the game.

EDIT: Thank you Jason for bringing it back to fun. EDIT2: Man, Rorie is just harsh on things compared to my experience I guess - Gotham, Starcraft 2's wrapup (story), and really just in general. I guess it's funny - or relatable - for some, but it's not really fun to listen to the cynicism and negativity in what seems to be a lighthearted setting of entertainment

In the chaos of the move between floors, GB needs to just... steal Danny and Mary, bring them to Giant Bomb. With the right WWE cardboard standees and clever use of recordable Hallmark cards, no one at Gamespot would notice until it was too late! Mwha-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!

I'm really confused that Dan didn't have to write a thesis in college. Did people not have a senior classes for bachelor? they had a write a long paper considered their senior thesis .

In defense of Dan, my senior thesis was in a Film Adaptation class and the thesis was we had select our own book that was adapted to film and write a 20 page paper and give a 15 minute presentation.

I picked That Darn Cat. I'm lucky that my 15 minute presentation on the 1997 version of That Darn Cat was not recorded

So basically I'm wondering if Dan did something that was a thesis that he didn't actually think was

The closest we will see to Revengeance 2 is that new Nier game, which looks amazing.

I really enjoyed the Star Wars discussion. Dan discovering the Rule of Two was very entertaining and Brad and Rorie were pretty well informed on some of the deeper lore at play. The first Star Wars Battlefront occupies a strange place for me. I remember that game feeling extremely experimental and just doing a lot of weird stuff with classes and weapons and vehicles and some of the map design was insane. By contrast Battlefront 2 felt a lot safer and more straight forward as if Pandemic reigned themselves in more, but it gave Battlefront 2 a much more authentic feel and produced a superior game. I revisit Battlefront 2 every few months but I have not touched Battlefront 1 in years. I still like Battlefront 1 and have fun memories about how it's so crazy, but I just don't have any desire to go back to it.

Revengence is top 3 Platinum games for me.

Amazing and incredibly similar to Revengeance (in the good ways). I don't even care about Nier but I'm looking forward to it a lot.

Are you sure Kojima disliked and distanced himself from Revengeance? I heard he wanted to write the sequel and make it about Gray Fox, but Platinum declined.

I think Dan probably had the right idea with MGR to be honest-- play the first chapter then watch the ending speech on youtube afterwards because nothing else in that game is nearly as good. Kind of the problem when you make your entire game about really big dumb actiony set-pieces, but put the best one at the start. Nothing else is really entertaining because it never reaches those highs again.

I still want to see a Metal Gear Scanlon of it, maybe even with Dan at the helm, just because I need to see Drew's reactions to the ending (and Dan's inevitable misunderstanding/misinterpretation of it being super patriotic).

@marblez3: He called MGR basically someone else's take on the Metal Gear universe. Like a what-if thing. So to him it might as well be on the same level as AC!D and Portable Ops.

@kasaioni: I know. But I never saw him quoted as saying he disliked it. He must have liked it considering he wanted to be a part of the sequel.

I'd be more interested in an MGR2 if it was Kojima directed, but that won't happen now.

Also, you guys should do Star Wars Battlefront 2's Galactic Conquest, because that actually is a mini strategy game. You buy units, have access to buy upgrades, you move fleets...its kind of incredible.

You can see the regret in Drews eyes... "I've been playing the wrong Metal Gear game!"

Something's definitely broke in the last few days. Now I'm suddenly being told to install Flash in Safari (which won't happen). I hope this gets fixed soon.

Revengeance is really a sharp contrast with MGS V in terms of how "Metal Geary" is it. This is the first time that I'm truly lamenting the lack of all of that MGS nonsense in MGS V.

Metal Gear Rising is way more of a metal gear game than MGSV.

It's story is wayyyyyy better.

It's like the opposite of V. The gameplay is fun, but totally brainless and simple it's not why you're there.
