VinnyVania: Castlevania - Part 03

Having never really played a Castlevania game before Symphony of the Night (no idea why I never got into the series, I had a NES and SNES), I had NO IDEA how much it was a reference to this game. Not just the intro, but large swaths of the castle's architecture and enemy placement.

I also get that this was a NES game, but I would've LOVED to have seen some badly translated text before that Drac fight. Though we'd have to have sat through it every time, so maybe it's for the better...

Nope, not for me. It is really hard to watch this kind of game being played unless I am currently playing it. Though it seems like plenty of people here are enjoying it, but I don't get it. I mean, its better than some video series of the same game over and over, and the end of this game is certainly more interesting.

Man it's crazy how much easier this is on an NES hooked up to a CRT. I guess it'd look like shit on a stream, though.

Jump against Drac. He opens his cape, you jump. That way you hit him and avoid his fire. Repeat. 2nd form I don't have any advice.

At 2:37:28, it looks like Jeff registers a hit on the back side of Drac's head and it does massive damage.

Note to Self/Others: skip this episode...

This is 3 brutal hours of Vinny unlearning all of his good Drac habits. Seriously, go look at the end of part 02 where he consistently pummels Phase 1 Drac and compare it to this.
