The problem with Kinect 2 is simple... There are no interesting games for it and the UI is bad. I think alot of people would agree with me... I want to use a controller and have kinect assist that experience! I want to use face tracking to look in my rear view mirror. I want to hold a skateboard up to a camera and have it appear in game. I want characters that know how I'm feeling. I want what they said the first one would do! If they did that people would buy kinect by the dozen! So it's not a big deal it's not in the box if they deliver something special! Other then Fantasia ofcourse!

@dagbiker: Think Jeff and/or Brad said the same thing in the NES remix quicklooks.

@dagbiker: Zelda 2 is good, just not in the same way as the original.

I get why Drake is trying to be upbeat about all this Kinect news but I mean, we all know even though it might have been the right move for MS to make, taking the Kinect out really fucked over people like Harmonix. Maybe them worst of all.

That's an incredibly short-sighted comment. The friends of Giant Bomb are awesome because they have introspective and personalities to their own fields, not because they "work" for Giant Bomb. Comments like these are becoming just so incredibly cringe-worthy.

Same goes for every time people say "hire Danny O'Dwyer" or some garbage like that. I love Danny too, but he doesn't need to be 'stolen' from Gamespot to show up in Giant Bomb content when another full time editor position can be easily given to someone else that would add even more to the site.

I think you missed the point of my post: It was not a "I wish this would happen" post, it was a very likely impossible hypothetical, that in my mind is so far fetched, there is no harm in conceiving of a world in which that was in fact the case. A lot of Canadian elementary schools had that game on their school computers. It aims to teach you Canadian geography, and also what natural resources are found in what areas of Canada. Also there are sweet hitchhikers, and you can speed in your tractor trailer, or put chains on the tires (for better traction on snowy roads) and either one of those actions will cause cops to pull you over constantly.

Started watching VinnyVania with the third game. I always assumed Barkerville was the actual name of the song every time they mentioned it.

Man, hearing arguments for why the Kinect being sold separately would be a good thing for the Kinect and not a bad thing really takes you back.
