It's a bummer but it seems as if the game bugged and Schneider never called them. If memory serves, he's the one who tells you where the uniform is, but they don't have his frequency. Though it's likely they would've forgotten Schneider's frequency between episodes anyway (seeing how they forgot Diane's), so maybe it's a moot point.

VR games got real weird at some point.

I only played the NES version but i thought the sub machine gun was trash. Way better to just fire a ponger distance in a straight line

As far as being security guard is concerned, you're usually not supposed to engage with people who are on the premises to commit some kind of crime (unless it's just kids vandalizing stuff or something). Your job is to observe that trouble is afoot, call police, stay away from said trouble like a yella bellied coward for insurance purposes, meet police, point finger towards area where trouble is occurring. If the regular patrol police think it's too hot, they don't engage either, pass the buck on to big boy police (swat).

Whoa! Abby's mention of Jay's Famous Hot Dogs threw me for a loop because that place is pretty close to where I live and despite their name, I didn't think anybody outside of this area actually knew about them.

As we're all probably aware, we've encountered a strange rift in the Giant Bomb continuum; Dan is pining for more Dragon Ball Z Kai and Monster Hunter as he realizes how irritating and amateurish the original Metal Gear games are.

I've owned a Lovesac. They are just the best. Highly recommended.

I mean, they're over 20 years old at this point. They were really unique when they came out.

I'm not saying they weren't important, and they were definitely a good foundation for the story of the series. I just don't think they're as timeless as the Metal Gear Solid series. The faults aren't as endearing, I guess.

@forteexe21: I think the problem was that they'd already been to building 2, so the Schneider frequency had switched as well.

@tensionhead: I think playing Super Mario Sunshine caused a split in the Dan timeline.

Considering how traumatic that can be for a person, I think we're yet to see the full extent of this split.

@tensionhead: Metal Gear 2 is still a decent game. Only Metal Gear 1 is bad. I played them for the first time a year ago (in other words, without wearing nostalgia goggles) and enjoyed MG2.

It has some bad parts but is overall good in my opinion. Happy to see Dan enjoying it!
