While the mutiplayer isn't as incredible as they promised, BF2 is

Who doesn't like the epic battles from Star Wars. The epic space fight above Corescant, the battle of Hoth, or even the battle of Endor. These epic fights hold a special place in every Star Wars fan's heart, and there's no better interactive way to enjoy these battles than Star Wars Battlefront 2! The game's idea is very simple, fight all of the greatest Star Wars battles any way you want. The original Battlefront did a good job at it, but there were some missing things that really hurt it. I can't play as Jedi? I can't fight in space? That's not right! But now you can. Battlefront 2 lets you fight as a jedi or hero character as well as fight epic space battles. The planet-based fights are still a blast! Most of the time, you'll be playing conquest, where you have to capture spawn points throughout the map. There's also 2-flag and single-flag capture the flag. As well as hunt (kill all the Ewoks/Woompas/Gungans, yesss!) There's also an assualt mode where you play as either the Star Wars heroes or villans and try to kill each other. This mode is a bit unbalenced since some heroes and villans don't even have lightsaber which makes them very vulnerable to jedis. The game once again uses a class-based system when fighting land skirmishes. There's the general assault trooper, the rocket man, the sniper, the engineer, the officer, and the special class. All of the classes are well balenced, but some have a rock-paper-scissors feel to how you defeat each type. All of the battles take place in both Star Wars eras-Galactic Civil War, and Clone Wars. I honestly enjoyed the Clone Wars a bit more, (but it still think the original movies are better!) You get plenty of planets to fight on, including Hoth, Endor, Tatooine, Kashykke, Kamino, Mustafar, and many more. But if your a bit tired of land fights, strap your self into the cockpit of a star-fighter and take the battles into space. They usually revolve around destroying the primary enemy ship, but there's also a single flag CTF as well. In space, you get different star-fighter types to fly. Your general-purpose craft, the fast, but nimble craft, the bomber, and the troop-transport. You can even load up a craft with a bunch of marines and fly into the enemy ship and destroy the craft from the inside, which is always a blast. Star Wars Battlefron has always had multiplayer in mind, but it isn't what makes the game survive. First of all, the player limit is too small to make everyone on the battlefield a living person. AI takes the place of them instead. The modes are pretty much the same, so it doesn't feel as different from single-player as you might expect. And since the AI is pretty good, you'll probabley have more fun in single-player. So if you're looking the ultimate way to fight all of the epic Star Wars battles, look no further than Star Wars Battlefron 2!
