Bummer.
I'm really wondering what version of this game that Brad played.
The version that I played was horribly fraught with technical issues, to the point where I just wanted to walk away from it on multiple occasions. And for a lifelong Star Wars fan who finds even the most grievous changes to the films defensible, that's saying a LOT. There's a sequence with mechanical spiders and EVERY time you do "the move" to clear the spiders the game would freeze for a solid half second or more. I quipped on my Facebook page that forced screenshots should not be a required part of gameplay. Good one ...I know.
The whole game feels really half baked. Like they had some really crazy ideas of where they might take this thing, and then someone turned around and said "Hey, you know we're shipping this next month, right?" The campaign is unforgivably short. I actually liked the story but I wanted so much more of it. They just never develop or resolve much of anything and Starkiller, who is kind of a neat character in concept, just descends into this selfish brat who can't see past his own needs.
I feel like they swapped voice actors too - I'm not a big enough enthusiast to go diving into those details but Starkiller's voice goes to pre-puberty levels on more than one occasion. Not very flattering for a Jedi Knight.
All in all, it's such a huge letdown for me from TFU1 which for me was the game I have enjoyed most from this generation of consoles. (Notice I didn't say "best" :) ) It's a must play for any real Star Wars fan but put your 5 hours in and move on - this is not a game you will play on and on like I played TFU1.
