So I gave in and bought this today... and.. it definitely has it's great moments, but oh many are they are eclipsed by all of the mind numbingly bad gameplay moments.  The camera, jumping, targeting, movement.. are all just a total and utter mess.  Environments are great looking, and often awe inspiring, but they were not designed with gameplay in mind.

I think this is the best example of the artists, game designers and programmers all not being in the same page I've ever seen.  They shouldn't have bothered making this a game, they should have made this a movie.  It would have been a lot better than Clone Wars.

It's a real testament to how compelling the characters, story and environments are that I'm willing to punish myself playing the game just to see the cutscenes.

To be honest all it needs to fix it is changing the targeting to camera relative rather than character relative - then bam problem solved, game works again.

I don't agree that they shouldn't have made the game. If it had played out as cooly as it looked when we first saw it then it woulda been awesome. Also the concept for this game was a very clear one, 'making it a movie' would've taken things down a completely different route and I think angered even more Star Wars fans.

    This game really isn't finished.

    The story was great though.
