I guess it's a good sign for SW:TOR, but being in a 500 man long line sure ain't what I had in mind today. How many are on your queue? Share your pain.

I'm in position 177 right now, it started at about 1400. It's taken me two hours so far. Last night I had to wait for three hours. It's pretty bad.

Not in a queue. My servers are generally just 'Heavy'.

Look at it this way: if there's a qeue, at least loads of people want to play the game, which means that Bioware will most likely support it more/better.

So I got in after two and a half hours, played for a while and then my computer decided to crash. Now I'm stuck in the queue again, at position 1500.

I just wanna play the damn game...

The queue times will drop after a month or two when people move on to other games and they add more servers. Predicting the right amount of servers at launch has always been hard for a dev to do.

Remember when people were making fun of Home for having to wait in line to play an arcade game? This is like that but with 1000X longer lines, so it's 1000X funnier.

Oh well, just got a good 2 hours session in. Done with Dromund Kaas and got my space ship now. Time for some workout and dinner. I'll just pop-in a movie or something for weathering the inevitable queue I'll face, when I'm ready for another go.

Last night I watched the last 2 endurance runs and the smnc quick look and read alot of the collectors edition book before getting on and disconnecting after about half an hour.

I don't think it's either a good or a bad sign. More the way companies are going these days. Rather than have the servers to handle it, see what happens first then add them. If it bombs, no wasted money, if it doesn't, add more servers and everything's happy times.

Awesome! I'm British so I fucking love queuing. Queuing mixed with Star Wars basically sounds like a recipe for my ideal game.

This is probably the number one reason why I won't play MMOs when they first release.

I don't know how this is absolutely a good sign as we don't know the server caps.

I just re-rolled on one of the newer servers a few days ago. No queues is awesome.

But I tend to stay logged in (or on char screen) when I go do other things around the house, friends told me 1000+ horror stories though.
But yeah, its alive, that's good.

Just went in my largest queue to date. It started at 250. Not bad considering that is roughly 15-20 minutes of waiting time. Sometimes having to wait is nice as it gives me and my group of friends enough time to get our voice chat situation sorted out. Also gives us time to catch each other up on quests we might have soloed.

In general though, queues suck except when they don't. (You can go ahead and quote me on that)

Got on in the morning before there was a queue. Then queued up while diner, and the game was ready to go, as I was done with it. With a bit of planning ahead, many frustrations can be circumvented.

Longest queue I've had was 5 people. Instead of a queue I just have 1000ms lag between 6pm and 11pm.

God damn, that's still around? I remember leaving that up while waiting in the WoW queue on launch day.
