The trek up to Seth isn't that bad, but shit - He's a cheap ass bitch!

Greanted I'm not very good @ the game thus far, but on normal with Sakura I more or less flew through to him outside of M. Bison who threw me off with his low wheel kick thing. Phase 1 of Seth isnt that bad, but on the 2nd round he's SOOOOO bad.

• Teleports ALL THE TIME
• Grabs me with Zangiefs Slam BEFORE HE HITS THE GROUND (Cant seem to counter the grab)
• havent found a way to block the damn stunning kick where he lures you in and uses chun li's 1000 kicks thing.
• His Ultimate seems unblockable no matter what I do.

It took me almoast an hour to beat him, compelte with yelling obcinities at the screen and scaring my dog. My fist also hurnts from pounding the coffe table LOL.

He's cake, you just suck.

Boss Seth definitely cheats, but players using Seth don't have his advantages.

I'm pretty sure you can attack him before his feet hits the ground.
geif's throw (whether from gief or seth's version is only counterable by not being on the ground)
the "stunning kick" you speak off must be blocked high
his ultimate is blockable, but you must be on the ground and not in the middle of a move.

Just set it to 1 round 30 second matches if it is too difficult. He becomes pretty predictable, and not even that hard on Hardest.

It was the first time on Normal for me, and with a char I'm not used to... That MAY have been the problem...

And I played Seth with said Able for alomast 2 hours on medium, and didnt beat him... so I suck as well....

I've figured out how to beat him fairly reliably on anything up to medium.   But he's still a cheating fuck.

If you're talking about Seth Rogen, then the answer is YES.

Yeah he feels like some cheap ass guilty gear boss. Really out of place for a street fighter game. He's not hard as much as he is just completely fucking annoying and not fun to fight.

The CPU always 'cheats' it's how it wins. Aside from having enhanced stamina CPU seth is the same as player Seth, the only difference being it can react within a single frame EVERY TIME it needs to. So it's not really 'cheating' it's just faking superb execution because fighting game AI is always shitty and SFIV is no different.

In the hands of a player he is a bitch though, his stamina is aweful he takes the most damage of any character in the game.
