Any of you guys go to tournaments and stuff? I just got back from one...they really help you analyze what you're doing wrong...
 
Anyways, ggs @ specialbuddy, but I really thought you would make it to finals. Because of how the bracket worked I guess we tied for third. It'll be interesting to see how you get placed in the ranbat standings.

Stang, if your having trouble with a SE, mod it. I spent 24 dollars on a 4/8 way sanwa stick, and 2 bucks on 6 buttons a piece, and now my SE is probably as good as an actual arcade cabinet. Now to mention light and easily fits on your lap (unlike that HUGE te).
 
Its really not hard at all to mod your SE, the stick comes out with a phillips and a flathead screwdriver, and the buttons are all click ins. It took me about half an hour to take apart it all, switch all the stuff around, plug in the connectors exactly where they were before, and have a sweet modded stick.
 
Theres also all kinds of vid tutorials on youtube, i really recommend modding one. The SE stick is mad of shoddy parts which are prone to breaking, not to mention a 4 way is in my opinion hard to use with command characters. My 8 way feels much smother, and my new main Abel loves it.

i was talking to kent and he thinks you shouldn't go with balrog vs gen...maybe akuma?
 
i can't play balrog very well, so good luck getting that practice in.

it was the time to go if you wanted to work on the rog matchup...at least 3 people there mained rog....and there were only 5 people there
 
and i won't be at the uc tomorrow....which means no 360, which probably means no sfiv

I'm in the SFIV tournament at Dreamhack. My pool starts in about 2 hours. I'm in the same pool as gootecks... Not feeling too confident about that :P 
But I'll kick some ass :3

I didn't do too bad. 4 wins, 4 losses. Lost to gootecks ofc D: 
And I needed 5 wins to qualify for the finals. Damn.

Yeah I actually recorded it myself with my cam. Acceptable quality.  I main as Rose and I played like shit that match :P But I can upload it to youtube if anyone is interested in seeing it :3  "

The finals at Dreamhack just ended with  Ryan Hart at first place.
