you know it's coming, you know it's gonna happen...frankly i would be surprised if it didnt happen...so what is everybody's prediction on when the ultimate arcade edition of this game will come? within the same year like umvc3?

what would be an acceptable time frame for you? how much should it be? and would you get it?

I hope they don't do one or at least make it available to update through a download as well.

@Bestostero: People keep saying that Capcom said that all updates for MvC3 would be DLC. I followed all the prerelease coverage for that game and never once heard that all future content would be exclusively DLC.

That said, I'm inclined to take Ono at his word this time around, not because of him but because of the situation they're in. Creating a game cross-licensed between two major game companies must have been a logistic nightmare. I can't believe that whatever contract they finally signed would allow for multiple releases of SFxT. This is especially true as once SFxT is out, the marketing campaign for TxSF will begin, and I can't imagine that Namco would want Capcom stealing their thunder by announcing/releasing SSFxT in the middle of Namco's PR cycle.

Capcom is lying. There will be no DLC for SFxT aside from costumes.

Well on the case of licensing, you could say the same about CvS2. I dunno, we'll see. There's a good chance they won't, at least not until TxSF is out.

This joke is really getting old. But if I had to put money down on a guess, I would say it will be all DLC with a Game of the Year type of package either in December or early next year with all the DLC in it.

No sooner than one year, although they may tease it before that.

I think the licensing involved will keep this to a one and done with healthy doses of way overpriced DLC.

I'm also going to guess that this is a one and done, aside from DLC.

Capcom say a lot of things, and personally I still don't believe that this will be the only version launched so I've decided to wait for a bit, probably for about a year and if they still haven't announced anything I'll consider buying it, thing is Capcom has done this more times than what would be considered sane.
