    Overview

Super Boy Allan is a block-pushing puzzle game in the style of Sokoban or Eggerland, where the goal is to maneuver logs around the screen in order to reach an exit. The player can also solve basic arithmetic puzzles by pushing the correct numerical log next to another log with an arrow, thereby providing the answer to a fraction sum underneath the player character's health. The player can also find hidden items when moving logs around, including rope (which allows them to pull logs) and other useful tools.

The game is a psuedo-sequel to SunSoft's earlier FDS game Adian no Tsue, which also contained a classic video game model (in that game's case, The Legend of Zelda) built around solving math puzzles. Both games are part of SunSoft's "Chinou Game Series" developed in part with Asmik. The third entry, Chisoko Tairiku Orudora, was released the same day.
