    Overview

    Super Famista 3 is the third of five Super Famicom games in Namco's Famista (short for Family Stadium) series of baseball sims. It followed Famista '94, the final NES Famista game, which was released in December 1993.

    Like previous Famista games, the game has the license to use the Nippon Professional Baseball license, Japan's analog to MLB.

    The game uses the following real-life Japanese teams:

    • Yakult Swallows
    • Chunichi Dragons
    • Yomiuri Giants
    • Hanshin Tigers
    • Yokohama Bay Stars
    • Hiroshima Toyo Carp
    • Seibu Lions
    • Nippon Ham Fighters
    • Orix Blue Wave
    • Kintetsu Buffaloes
    • Chiba Lotte Marines
    • Fukuoka Daiei Hawks
    • Namco Stars (the only fictional team, and the game's powerful "all-stars" team)
