WHEN IS THIS COMING TO THE VIRTUAL CONSOLE???????
A lot of North American gamers seem to have forgotten the game (at least that's my impression). I always talk about it, but nobody seems to remember it. I know It was one of the later games out on the SNES, and you're right, it was fantastic. I'd buy it in a heartbeat... which might keep me from ditching the Wii altogether..
I actually own a Cart of this game for the SNES! Fuck your Virtual Console, I got the real deal baby!
I got suspended from Gamespot for simply mentioning ROMs in a forum, but I'm hoping I won't here.
I have no reason to ever buy anything from the VC.as long as no Gamecube games (understandably) and no original content exists.
Every game on there that I could consider purchasing is already on my hard drive, and it was free.
So I have on inside authority that release of Super Mario RPG (among other games like Majora's Mask) have been delayed due to WiiWare. I too have been harassing Nintendo to release this game.
I cant wait until it comes out.
And to the ROM comment: some people dont want to play classic SNES games on their computer with a keyboard, they want to play it on their TV.
"I actually own a Cart of this game for the SNES! Fuck your Virtual Console, I got the real deal baby!Me too, buddy! Yeeaaah, high five.
"
I just beat the game again probably six weeks ago, and my updated impressions were "this game is easy". I like it, it has undoubted charm, but the whole turn based gameplay isn't as solid as it once used to be.

My brother is schpritzing over this one as well. He played it a lot as a youngun. I, however, couldn't care less.
"I cant wait until it comes out.I have been playing many more ROMs recently (of games that I have purchased in the past; I don't condone stealing), ever since I figured out that my Wired 360 controller doubles as an effortless PC controller. Just plug it into an open USB port, map the emulator's controls to the joysticks/buttons, and play Banjo-Kazooie, Majora's Mask, and Earthbound to your heart's content with a genuine gamepad.

"who knows, who cares, virtual console is dead and so is the wii."I don't know how you people get by in life when you're so blind to what's around you.
I picked up a couple of titles off the VC during the first few months of the Wii, but the only one that I've been eagerly awaiting thus far is Super Mario RPG. A friend of mine is lucky enough to have this on cart. I've considered getting the cart as well, but there are some pretty steep prices out there. I'd love to have it on the Wii, but it's taking forever!
