I was completely stoked/surprised today when my opponent was "GiantBombing." I was like...no way could it be Jeff. Then I saw he picked Honda and I was like woah woah I don't think I could be that lucky. He won the first round, then I took the second as my Cody. The third round was to the WIRE man. He beat me by a sliver! It was amazing!
Anyone else get to play Jeff today? :D He made my day.

dont worry it is a bug that puts them all here. They are fixing it.
@Zlatko: Some of those kids are complete... kids. That's pretty awesome, though. I'm pretty sure I played a co-op match with Jeff in Resistance 2. At the time, though, I thought he was just some fan of Giant Bomb... so I just thought "GiantBombing" was a lame psn name. That was when I barely went on this site, around R2's release.

Yeah I've had it for 2 days now. Everyone online right now is pretty much a pro tourney player, so I'm taking a LOT of beat downs. Most aren't even touching the new characters, so while I'm trying to learn new ones they are smashing me with the established bunch.
I highly recommend this game to anyone. Lot of focus on community with the online portion and from what I've played I've had NO games in my 90+ matches that were not full connection with zero lag. They delivered on way better online. For 40 bucks you'll be getting a lot of fun, especially with some buddies from team versus. :)
Why can't they make replying to threads with lame overused pictures against the Giantbomb creed. You're not supposed to do it with videos why do they let people get away with it with pictures. Pictures are far more annoying.

Quoted for truth. It's not like I MEAT for the thread to go here instead of the SSF4 forums. Plus, I didn't really make a thread that was retarded in anyway...at least not offensive to make you want to flame me for absolutely no reason. You'd think the guys who have so much free time on here to troll and flame would want to rather be gaming a game they enjoy.
It's cool though to see others have played against GB at stuff. Anyone have a story of victory over one of them? :P I SO want a rematch against his Honda with my Thawk now though haha. :D
I have to wonder how well recognized Jeff and the gang really are on XBL and PSN. I mean, if you saw Harrison Ford walking down the street, and you freaked out and wanted to talk to him or get his autograph, that probably would NOT make his day, because I'm sure he has to put up with that crap all the time. On the other hand, depending on how often it happens, it might be kinda cool for some random video game player to say, "Hey, I know you guys and I really like your website."
Now if it was ME who ended up playing one of the GB guys, I know just what I'd do. I'd curse the assholes at infinity ward responsible for making me play with the voice chat set to "friends only" in order to simulate the party system, because I wouldn't be able to hear a word. I live in fear of being put into a game with Ice T and not being able to hear a single thing the man says.

Agreed. I usually report them, but nothing ever happens. It's worse than Youtube spam.
