So, I ordered the parts to my TE stick so that I will be able to mod out the buttons and the ball top... I was wondering if you all, the fans, thought that it would work if instead of ordering customized TE art from a website, if I just took the default art off, spraypainted the metal, then got a plexi cover to put over it...

Modding a TE Stick
So, I ordered the parts to my TE stick so that I will be able to mod out the buttons and the ball top... I was wondering if you all, the fans, thought that it would work if instead of ordering customized TE art from a website, if I just took the default art off, spraypainted the metal, then got a plexi cover to put over it...
" So, I ordered the parts to my TE stick so that I will be able to mod out the buttons and the ball top... I was wondering if you all, the fans, thought that it would work if instead of ordering customized TE art from a website, if I just took the default art off, spraypainted the metal, then got a plexi cover to put over it... "Well that's more trouble than ordering your own art, but yeah sure it would work.
" i was thinking of doing the V for Vendetta Red V and I thought that it would look really cool if i actually spraypainted it "It'll be way easier to get make it Photoshop then try and get it right with actual spray paint. More than likely it's just going to look like a messy (and likely ugly) "V". It sounds like you're making too much work for yourself for not much gain. Unless you're a pro graffiti artist or something, it's not worth the trouble. IMO.
" So i decided that my delusions of grandeur were too much, and thus went through arts hobbies... Soon my stick will have the look of this piece of genius! "I was just going to suggest heading over to the Shoryuken forums to either ask someone to help you make some nice artwork (they're quite friendly and helpful over there) or just lurk through the 500+ pages of the TE stick custom art forum until you find something awesome (that's what I did, borrowing ideas from about 3 different designs and combining them with my limited PS skills).
That's some pretty awesome Dudley art! Do you plan on changing the colors of the buttons or ball top at all?
I'll post my custom stick art when I finish with the design (95% done).
" @V: Does Dudley still say "Gutter Trash!" I've not heard him say it yet, but I've been exclusively playing Guy so far. "@V said:
" @The_A_Drain: not positive. I know he says Keep it Classy definitely on his Ex Machine Gun Blow, but I havent heard Gutter Trash... I will have to listen for it now "I'm pretty sure it's Taunt #8 that makes Dudley say "Gutter Trash"
