Overview
Super Tennis (or Great Tennis as it is known in Japan) is a simple tennis simulation game where the goal is to beat the opponent in three sets. It is played simply by running to where the ball will land and hitting the swing button to return it.
Super Tennis was originally released in Japan in late 1985, and was the third of Sega's Great Sports series to be released after the original Great Baseball and Great Soccer. Like many of Sega's Great Sports series, it superficially resembles Nintendo's early sports games enhanced by the Master System's graphical superiority. In this case, the NES game Tennis.
