I say heck yes. I have all of them, but I would be lying if I thoroughly enjoyed or even beat all of them, but I do have them all. Granted Syphon Filter is much more a series my brother played back then and loved, I still am interested a lot in them, and I thought to two PSP games were pretty good, and I've beaten Omega Strain. We have Metal Gear, we have Splinter Cell, and etc, but I think we're missing Syphon Filter. They could make a great modern Syphon Filter.

Absolutely. One of the more underrated franchises, in my opinion.

The big problem is that Syphon Filter hasn't been a big seller since the PS1 days - even with great reviews the PSP games were commercial disappointments. Still, there's been rumors that it's been worked on in Sony's European studios, some have even suggested it was one of the games SCE Liverpool was working on when they were shut down. And who knows what Bend is working on now that they finished Uncharted...

Yeah, I would. I really enjoyed the first two games. I remember playing the third and not being able to finish the first mission. Why, I can't remember at all. I also played the Dark Mirror PSP game, which was excellent.  It would be nice to see this series return.

I played the PS2 version of one of the PSP games and thought it was fairly good. Not amazing, but pretty interesting.

I think that, put in the hands of a good developers, you could make the series something far better than it is - but as it stands, I don't really anticipate a new one.

Even though the Syphon Filter series lost its edge. I still would like to see a reboot of the series. The original was the best game, and I also enjoyed omega strain.

The level of customization was just beautiful. I felt like a badass agent on a mission that was top secret. This game was indeed a pain in the dick to play. But it still was alot of fun to play. Hell I actually rebought this game off the PSN store.

Sure. I'd play a new Syphon Filter. I'd even be happy if they released an HD collection of the PSP games on PS3. I remember those being pretty great for handheld TPS's.

Yes! I loooooved Syphon Filter. Omega Strain was a fantastic game and I've always wanted a new one on current gen consoles.

I love PE 1 and 2 too but the Third B-Day ruined the series beyond repair. It sucked so bad that Square, who is on a spreed of giving crap games a load of sequels, has pretty much buried the series in the sand like a giant cat turd of shame.

Only one I played was Syphon Filter 2 on the Ps1 and that game fucking sucks. So no.

I thought the original Syphon Filter was pretty cool as a kid, even if I got stuck at certain levels. I went back to it several years later and still thought it was pretty cool even if I got lost in one of the later levels this time.

God, yes! Syphon Filter 2 is one of my all time favorite games. Bring back the original voice actor though. John Chacon is Gabe Logan as much as Michael Ironside is Sam Fisher.

Didn't Sony shut down the studio that made the Syphon Filters games or are they still around? Honestly I don't care. The only Syphon Filter game I have ever played was the Omega Strain demo when OPM was still around. I have no interest in that franchise.

I still replay the first two Playstation 1 games all the time. Definitely very enjoyable.
