Lava is molten rock, usually from the interior of a planet, and in games is often used as a hazard to players, or as a visible gameplay-area boundary.
A magic staff is a large, thick stick or stick-shaped object usually with a medallion or amulet connected to the top. It is mostly used for its magical capabilities, but can also be wielded as a light melee weapon.
Meat is the edible flesh of animals. It is often seen restoring the health of adventurers and annoying vegans.
The delicious dairy drink that comes from mammals. Some games use it as a power up / health boost, while others use it as a resource. Substitutes can be comprised of rice, soy, and apparently, hemp.
Often used in girls' school uniforms. Lenght varies from just above the knees to barely covering the buttocks. Miniskirts have a natural tendency to blow upwards.
Noodles are an unleavened dough product which act as the base of many dishes, such as spaghetti and ramen.
A rope with a loop at the end of it. Used for hanging people.
A citrus fruit that is round and orange in color. Sometimes it is a bonus prize as in the Pac-Man series of games. Also comes in the form of juice and soda.
A delicious pastry usually filled with various types of fruits or meats.

A potion is any sort of liquid, usually brewed by an alchemist, that replenishes the health, mana, or energy of the player, or causes damage to an enemy. Potions are extremely common in role-playing games.

A mechanical lifeform, typically exhibiting superhuman abilities, that can be found in games as either the main protaganist or as powerful enemies or allies.
The "Special" flag in Rally-X doubles the point value of subsequent flags collected. It appears in other Namco games as a recurring symbol or collectible item.
