That kind of sounds interesting. But I never actually got what it does and to what extent.

Edit: Now I read the text and it sounds even more interesting, but still. What/how/when?
I'm not really up to par when it comes to valve and their mysterious messages.

@Sjupp: I think its basically just take your unwanted items and turn them into new items instead of throwing them out. Nothing mysterious there

I guess the real question now is whether or not this will allow us to somehow add bonuses to existing weapons (i.e. make a weapon with increased accuracy).

The amount of time they put into this game is astonishing.

And the amount of time they spend making the comics and all pictures etc.

They won't do that. Or at least - if they do that I'll stop playing TF2. It'll break the whole balance of the game. It'll ruin the whole experience.

I'm still trying to figure out how I feel about it... I'm surprised Valve wasn't more specific about the capabilities of the crafting system in their blog post.  They absolutely knew that there would be all sort of theorizing and debating about it (and that the controversy would undoubtedly upset certain people).

I thought it was quite self-explanatory, you combine items in your inventory to make new items. There are certain combinations which result in certain items. To find out a specific combination you need blueprints, which tell you which items are needed. The only thing which is not that clear is how you acquire blueprints, do you unlock them as you play or do you how to work them out for yourself.

its good that they are finally using the inventory system for something but i'm very surprised that they haven't integrated an Experience points system considering how popular that has been in recent FPS games.
