" @Agnogenic said:Wow. Don't I look like an idiot? :p" 10? That is a pretty good deal. May pick this up in a little bit. "It doesn't come out till next week. :P "
15 bucks was a little high, but was gonna probably pick it up...definately going to now. Does anyone know if it is online co-op? I had heard it was but not sure.
That's a relief. The only thing that's new in the game is online play and to have had to pay $15 for a game I have on the SNES would have been a pass. Now I am considering it.
Yeah I just saw this over at Kotaku. Good move imo, the graphics look garbage (imo) and thinking they are going to compete with MvC2 and Shadow Complex at that price point? No freakin way. Dropping to 800 points a few days after MvC2's release is a fantastic idea, you catch people who are still grumbling about MvC2s price point, and you might get some impulse buys off people grabbing 2000 points, or 2100 point cards in order to get Shadow Complex in a couple of weeks time.
I won't be buying it, but 800 points is a lot more attractive and I would not be surprised if it nets them a substantial amount more sales.

"I think they may have charged 1200 points for MvC2 is because of licensing crap but, I could be wrong.
I'm not personally grumbling about it. 1200 points is ace for a game that costs more than £30 for the inferior PS2 version. But some people are grumbling, they always do.
I would imagine the licensing if pretty hefty though I don't disagree there. But I personally think even without any updating, 1200 points is hella good price for it.

What happened to $5 being a good price point? $15 only seems reserved for those amazing releases like MvC2 or Battlefield. $10 was a high price once, I think billiards and texas hold em came out at 10 bucks, but those have more replay value than this. I think I will just pull out my SNES and copy of the game and play it the way it was meant to be played.

They haven't even re-done the sound effects or music here.
1200 would have been very hard to sell, especially considering how short the game is. It's certainly no Castle Crashers, and doesn't even include the SNES levels.
800 is a lot more fair.
COWABUNGA, DOOD!!! This is definitely getting bought alongside Shadow Complex and Demons of the Badlands DLC for RFG. = D Otherwise...I mean, look, NO ONE besides my brother can truly understand the lengths of my love for TMNT (and only because he's as much of a fan of it as I was)...but I wouldn't have paid 1200 points for this re-skinned version of the game. 800 points is definitely a nicer price point to me.
