Tetris with Cardcaptor Sakura: Eternal Heart is a falling-block puzzle game developed by Arika (along with Affect) and published by Arika for the PlayStation exclusively in Japan on August 10, 2000.

One of two puzzle games developed by both Arika and Affect based on the shoujo manga and anime series Cardcaptor Sakura, the other being Cardcaptor Sakura: Clow Card Magic, Eternal Heart builds on the traditional Tetris formula with elements from Sega's 1989 arcade game Flash Point.

While most of its gameplay is based on standard Tetris (and is similar to Arika's earlier Tetris: The Grand Master), Eternal Heart is a stage-based game that tasks players with clearing jewel blocks from each board by having these blocks in line clears. This system was later used in Arika's Tetris: The Grand Master 3 - Terror Instinct for its "Sakura" mode.

The game's single-player Story Mode stars the heroine Sakura Kinomoto as she uses the powers of Tetris to unseal all 17 Clow Cards (and evolve them into Sakura Cards) while revealing scenes from the anime. It also features a versus multiplayer Battle Mode with multiple playable characters (each with different abilities based on clearing jewel blocks).

Similar to Arika's other Cardcaptor Sakura games (Animated Story Game 1 and Clow Card Magic), Eternal Heart is intended to be played by both young children and their parents and includes an optional setting, called "MaMaCon", which allows the controls to be played both by the P1 side (for the child) and the P2 side (for the parent), with the P2 side being preferred. It also includes an optional "Navigation System" setting to aid the player in choosing where to place pieces.

    Gameplay

    Story Mode

The Story Mode superficially resembles the Puzzle Mode of later Tetris games, with the player can continue removing lines until all the gems are removed. Occasionally, gems don't appear on the screen until the player has placed a number of pieces, which causes the stack of pieces to move up.

    Battle Mode

The Battle Mode features thirteen characters to select. The first five are available at the offset, with the next six unlocked after completing Story Mode once on any difficulty and the final two have special requirements:

    • Sakura Kinomoto
    • Syaoran Li
    • Tomoyo Daidouji
    • Kero-chan
    • Yue
    • Eriol Hiiragizawa
    • Spinner Sun
    • Ruby Moon
    • Toya Kinomoto
    • Sakura Kinomoto - Scepter (has different abilities than the original Sakura)
    • Sakura Kinomoto - Red Attire (has different abilities than the original Sakura)
    • Yukito Tsukishiro (requires a few games in Battle Mode to unlock)
    • Meiling Li (requires a special passcode to unlock)
