Steam Trading Cards is a built in feature in the Steam client. It lets users collect cards from certain games and trade them and receive rewards for complete sets.
Usually the room before a boss battle, filled with ammo, health and other goodies for players to stock up on.
Like a critical hit, this is a special action invoked from certain attacks in games or caused randomly on attacks by a character's statistic. It causes opponents to lose the ability to attack back for a certain period of time, and usually invokes the hit character to go into a special animation.

An Unwinnable State occurs either due to a glitch or by designer choice, when the player's actions make it so that the game can no longer be completed. However, the game continues as though it is still possible to finish and win.
Weapons can often be upgraded with new attachments, augmentations, or magical enchantments. These upgrades result in the original item being more powerful than originally intended.
When you gotta go, you gotta go. Urination is found in games for a number of reasons, including comic relief and a quick pathway to sobriety.
A video game concept in which plainly valuable items, weapons, and even hard currency are routinely found in trash cans and roadside dumpsters.
Some video games feature characters that play video games themselves, with the player sometimes taking control of the character playing the game-within-a-game. This also includes game characters who explicitly mention that they play video games.
A visual obstruction is an extra layer added to the player's viewpoint. Most common in first person games to add to the notion that you are looking through a character's eyes. Obstructions include blood, water and ice crystals.
