It's finally here: a whole new chapter, more bosses, more items, and even a new unlockable character. EEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!   

BIG HALLOWEEN UPDATE (with no actual lame halloween themes)
-Added chapter 5 (unlocked after 10 mom kills)
-Added 3+ new bosses 
-Added 4 new enemies
-Added 20+ new items
-Added one new unlockable character (Eve)
-Added one new "FINAL" ending.
-Added 6+ new achievements
-Added 2 new music tracks
-Added updated collection viewer
-Added 4 new tarot cards (finishig the major arcana) 


Fixes:
-lots of small bugs were fixed
-load time fixed

nice! bought it day one but still haven't touched it due to lack of time :(

Games coded in Flash and as far as I know there are no gamepad api's in Flash.

This update sounds cool, games still awesome.

Cannot wait ^__^ I've already done everything in the game except the last 2 iron boys...hopefully this update will help.

I know the title says that it would be out at 12 PM PST, but I just checked and don't believe it has been updated yet. Has anyone seen any updated about the release of the DLC?

Yeah, guess I'll just have to try harder to finish it.

I nearly finished it my 5th time, got to the 1st womb with so many soul hearts the screen couldn't hold them (using the nail, which will sadly be nerfed to 1 soul heart) but without knowing the shovel did nothing on the last level I purchased it and thought it would work so I got an easy win.

You can imagine what happens next, it doesn't work and I end up losing. :(

This looks awesome but I still haven't beat the first set of levels. I always die on the 4th or 5th floor. I've never even seen the final boss :(

I really cant wait for this. However, Im still missing two items on my colleciton chart. One is the Shears, which havent unlocked for some reason(I think I have 125 deaths), does anyone know what the second item I have yet to unlock could be?

You're only missing the shears. The other 2 ?s are for pills and tarot cards, which always show up as ?s. Um, I guess you should just keep dying, I'm not sure why your shears aren't unlocking :(

Ah, alright thanks. Im hoping with this new update Ill get the amount of deaths I need.

It also says I have found 48/47 secrets, so thats weird.

Don't know if anyone answered you. But yes, there totally is. http://flashjoystick.pill owfortgames.com/ They've even done it before, the flash game meat boy totally had support for a joystick in the browser.

I found a pill that teleports you into a random room.

Were they in different devil rooms? I've made two pacts so far, but both of them were in the same room and it didn't unlock for me either...

I just got Brimstone which allows you to charge your shot and when you flash you release a laser like Gluttony or Shoop da whoop.

Yeah, F for fullscreen not working sorta sucks. Speaking of Eve, I purchased two items in the same devil room and when I went down the door Isaac changed to Eve. However, since I have brimstone I can't see the character model.

10 more Mom kills? Or Ten total Mom kills? Because if it's ten more, then I very well may never see the new stuff. I've already beaten the game eleven times.

Brimstone is incredible you're all crazy.
 
Also I think there might be a secret chapter? I went into the devil room after the Mom's Heart fight and there was a separate door that lead to Sheol. Is this the new chapter or is something else down the other door?

Just unlocked Eve...bought 3 items over 2 Devil Rooms :o

As I said, I really like Brimstone. I meant that the F for fullscreen not working sucks, NOT Brimstone.

Sheol is the new chapter.

well that is awesome that there is an update, but I still haven't beaten it. Of course I have only poured maybe at the most an hour into just because I rarely have the time to go through it.

Holy hell is that final boss fucking hard. He doesn't take any damage from stuff you get from him, does he.

Yea a bunch of bugs are screwing up my enjoyment so far. First I can't even hurt the last boss because I had brimstone and something else and just got unlucky that it happened. Also the sound went super loud and game performance slowed down like crazy. Second time instead of the boss I expected some other boss popped up (I believe it was not an intended thing). I'll wait a bit until they fix it back up.

Haha, that sucks.

Also found a bug that if you have Boom! and Mr. Boom you get unlimited Mr. Boom shots. Very helpful for beating Mom's heart. Anyway, Edmund said there will be a bunch of big fixes tomorrow.

So is Satan the last boss? The original areas(Basement, Caves, Depths, and Womb) have 2 levels, is the last area just one level. I'm hoping it is because I just got raped by Satan twice(had 1UP). I had base damage and fire speed the whole game, and only got a brother bobby as far as damage output increases go. I think I almost beat Satan, got to the stage where he stomps and died on both lives. I'll get my revenge when I find the nail, or anything for that matter, lol.
