The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Review: A true open world 0

Baby got back, and also front, and a... silver sword Spoiler warning: I don't spoil much of anything in the story at all. I have added two videos that are also very light on spoilers, so you should be good. I decided to go with my heart on this as the other titles I had in mind were a little uninspired. Such as: Witcher 3 is the game that Dragon Age Inquisition tried and failed to be. Witcher 3, this game is fucking rad. Witcher 3, enough fat asses to please Scott Steiner. Actually, those all s...

The Highest Level of An Open-World RPG 0

A game everyone who played was talking so greatly about and took me around a year and a half after release to finally play it. It was sensational. The story is so dense and with so much content on every part of the world. Everybody having a unique personality, it's kind of scary to think of how much work CD Projekt managed to put on the NPC's. The only thing I dislike about the game when I was playing it, especially comparing it to Witcher 2, was the combat, becoming easy and happening too many ...

    An Instant Classic 0

Enter a world that has been scarred from abuse, megalomania, and thievery, yet also retains attributes of simplicity and lush landscape. Flora and fauna exquisitely coexist in harmony, joined together against the unwritten war of beings. Emotional tales of absolution and personal triumph leak through its sea of content. In the midst of an overarching struggle, a lone monster hunter seeks for a reunion of a girl he sees like a daughter. This is the world containing several provinces such as Novig...

A world defined by stories 0

The Witcher 3 is not perfect. The pre-patches game had many technical oddities and difficulties. The combat becomes relatively rote after awhile. Breasts are displayed with reckless abandon, mostly not during sex. Roach can be a finicky horse. Some narrative threads seem to cut off early. The UI was a chore pre-patch and is now a bit better. And while all of that matters, it's still a deeply engaging and thoughtful game built around contextualized movement through an interesting and detailed wo...

I'll do it, if the coin is good. 0

After 95 hours, I've concluded the main quest line of the game. I still have around 20 quests in my journal. Granted mostly involving Gwent(the collectable trading card game). However there are still a number of contracts left unfulfilled. As well as points of interest unexplored scattered about the map.At some point in the story I came to the conclusion that most of the game was almost entirely scripted into one general narrative. I was wrong. The choices you make are so subtle and dynamic that...

The Pinnacle Of What Interactive Storytelling Can Do 0

Since The Witcher series is based on a series of books by Andrzej Sapkowski the game already has well-developed lore to explore and cherry pick from to create a narrative based game that, for lack of a better phrase, does feel like you're playing a great fantasy novel.Though this game was released worldwide in May 2015 and despite me pre-ordering it on the PSN store I didn't get around to playing it till August 2016 when I was two weeks vacation from work and poured myself into the game, spendin...

Did nothing for me at all 1

I really wasnt keen on this game at all. Reasons for this was the controls was awfull, the main characters voice sounded too over the top and unrealistic, you cant jump on the horse will moving as you have to stand still then press X, random people you talk to just say a something like..... oh yeah !?! I just thought it was really dispionting and felt too basic for me. But graphics was good and the idea but for me i just thought it was trying to be a Skyrim wanna be a just failed big time. I so...

Rio Starwind's Mini Reviews: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt 0

The Witcher 3 manages to mix the best things about the first two games into a open world environment. First up the story is more compelling since it is about Geralt trying to find and help his daughter Ciri. Along the way he meets a cast of interesting characters like the often mentioned Bloody Baron. Which gives the player a reason to keep heading down the main story path more so than most open world games. Along with that the gameplay finally feels like a action game that lets me dodge and co...

    The Witcher 3 (PC) 0

"Developers at CD Projekt Red have created what very well may be the most realized world I’ve ever experienced in a video game."Ladies and gentleman, after 85 hours of monster-slaying, gwent-dealing, sword-clashing fun, I’ve decided it’s time to write what may very well be the most bittersweet review I’ve ever written. On the one hand, I couldn’t be more excited to write a review on what very well may be my favorite game of all time. On the other hand however, words...

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Review 0

Alright, welcome to my first video game review in which we will be focussing on the popular game title, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. An important piece of information to bear in mind as you read through this review is that I was playing on the Xbox One. This will matter when I begin to talk about things such as graphics and controls, however it will not effect things like the storyline. As I am sure you are aware this game has been out for some time already, being released in mid May of 2015. This...

    Game of the generation 0

Most fun I've had playing a game since RDR, easily bags game of the generation title. The world is probably the best looking still to this day, with some of (if not THE) best characters. Would very much recommend you go out and get this if you like RPG games, or medieval Slavic/Celtic inspired fantasy games....

    Fantastic Game 0

There are a few things I didn't like, a few bugs here and there but overall the last entry in the Witcher series (for now), was a joy to play. The writing was great, I felt that almost all of the side quests were very good and the overall story was great. There is a good deal of character depth to the majority of the main characters that really makes you feel for them. I must say that I am a little sad that this game didn't get more love from the GB team during game of the year when it released...
