Overview

The Wolf Among Us is a five-part adventure game developed and currently being published by Telltale for the Xbox 360 (via Xbox Live Arcade), PlayStation 3 (via PlayStation Network), PlayStation Vita (also via PlayStation Network), PC, Mac, and all iOS devices between October 11, 2013 and sometime early 2014.

Set in the same universe as Bill Willingham's comic book series Fables (and takes place 20 years before the events of the first issue), players follow Bigby Wolf, the reformed Big Bad Wolf of childhood fables and sheriff of Fabletown (an enclosed community of "fables" in late-20th-century New York City kept secret from regular "mundane" humans). When he and Snow White, assistant to the Fabletown mayor, encounter a decapitated head of a mysterious fable, Bigby must investigate the grisly whereabouts of a fable serial killer.

Similar to Telltale's previous adventure game, The Walking Dead, making decisions through actions and timed conversation trees play an important role in the game, complete with branching consequences that tailor the player's story to the pressured choices they are forced to make. Players also investigate areas for clues and engage in action sequences (using series of quick time events).

Story

Episode 1: Faith (October 11, 2013)

The first episode revolves around the murder of a lesser known Fable calling herself Faith. Bigby Wolf takes up the investigation, with some help from Snow White, chasing several suspects, among them his old arch nemesis The Woodsman.

Episode 2: Smoke and Mirrors (February 4, 2014)

Bigby continues investigating for the 'now-serial killer' walking the streets of Fabletown. He also attempts to find answers from Faith's pimp, and becomes more involved with Beauty and Beast's affairs.

Episode 3: A Crooked Mile (April 8, 2014)

Following a shocking revelation, Bigby continues his investigation for the serial killer while pursuing a prime suspect. He comes closer to unveiling a conspiracy and reveals more of his animal side.

Episode 4: In Sheep's Clothing

Episode 5: Cry Wolf
