That's good news for me. Too many games to play at the moment. I could use the breather.

Yeah, can't say I'm too disappointed about this.
I'm excited about the game, but there's plenty coming out around March, I was worrying over whether or not I'd be able to afford it.

Doesnt change anything, the game will be the same and buying it 2 months later wont change anything for the players

Ubisoft had a better 2009 fiscal year and now that they dont NEED the extra income, they want to help jump start their 2010 fiscal year.

I guess Q1 was getting too crowded. Even though I am pissed, this is a great move from them. Not only will it give Ubisoft more time to polish the game, it will help their sales figures. Great move, Ubisoft, cheers.

Thank goodness, now I don't have any new games I'm interested in coming out in February.
On the bright side, I guess this means more time for Mass Effect 2

This just proves how idiotic it was to push all games into Q1 2010 in the first place.

I don't see why you would.  This was almost certainly a money thing.  The delay was announced alongside financial talk, Ubi focusing on big Xbox 360 and PS3 games.

Screw Conviction. I am shocked by the fact they moved fucking R.U.S.E. to 2010-11. So that game can land as well in this year's March or next.

It's just that it's been delayed so many times.  From the gameplay videos, the shooting looks a little... loose I guess is how I would describe it.  Overall it LOOKS like a good game, but who knows.  I'm still looking forward to it, but delay after delay makes me a bit wary.

Well they redid almost the whole game, so that explains the delay between those initial "Sam with long hair" versions of the game and now, I don't even count those as the same product.  I really don't think there's anything to worry about quality wise here.

I know that, but there's still been a delay I believe since the original intended release date of this new version of Sam, although I could be wrong here.  It could very well be purely for financial reasons, but personally delays like this say "We've got a few problems" to me.  Like I said, it will probably be fine and turn out to be a good game, it just worries me slightly.

Argh!! Splinter Cell is easily one of my most if not thee most anticipated game of 2010 for me, but look at it this way, delayed means two things, one: they have a bit more time to work on it, two: I get some breathing room to play all the games coming out in Q1. Sooo its definitely bad news to hear, but its not as bad as it looks.

I'm glad because the delay delays my decision if to cancel my preorder or not.  However, at this point I'll probably just cancel it later on anyways.  I need a demo, Ubisoft.
