    It's Tomb Raider

I know everybody loves this game.... I know it's been out for a year... almost 2. But, after playing again recently... I still don't understand why anyone liked it. After playing Assassin's Creed 2, there was just no room in my heart for linear climbing puzzles. I spent almost an hour trying to climb vines in a segment, just to find that not all vines could be climbed... Just some of them. I needed to simple walk to the other side of the room where there are climbable vines. Climbable, unclimbable, they all look the same. The shooting is good, but not as solid as other 3rd person shooters on the market. The story is good, the only reason I gave it 2 stars and not 1. Other then that, I can't find anything enjoyable about the game. They make you do the same train climb twice.... It makes no sense... You do the sequnce in the begining, just to do it later to fill space without any explaination of... why? The game is SO linear, that I don't even feel like I'm making any decisions other then shoot, take cover, and jump. I found myself annoyed and frustrated through most of the experience. Oh look, those planks are bright yellow, guess I have to jump there... Oh look, that bar is bright red... Wonder what I have to do now! Oh wait, there are pillars everywhere... and I only can climb one of them because????? This style of game was boring to me in the 90's... How many times can I do platform jumping before it gets boring.... Anyway, games like Assassin's and InFamous brought new ideas to the table... They didn't heavily rely on busted 90's climbing mechanics, the climbing actually works. Many games were more deserving of Game of the Year. I'm not trying to insult anyone that loves Uncharted, I just don't get it! Why does everyone love it so. It reminds me when Resistance came out, everyone commended the graphics even though the Fog of War was in so close, it reminded me of Goldeneye... And the graphics, kinda suxcked. Then Resistance 2 came out, a far superior game, and everyone bitched about it... I just don't get it.!!! Uncharted could have been fun if I was completely bias before hand!

NATHAN DRAKE'S LATEST ADVENTURE, IS ONE OF GAMINGS FINEST.The credits began to roll down the screen, there was I seated with goosebumps and shivers of excitement rattling through my body. Knowing I had just experienced one of the finest adventures to ever grace any form of entertainment. I'm sorry, do you have a plan to go along with that grenade? 0

I loved Uncharted: Drake's Fortune- it was a fun, action packed ride filled with great characters and witty dialogue. I wasn't really expecting Nathan Drake's second outing to be much different, and in short, it isn't- but it also doesn't need to be. Uncharted 2: Among Thieves takes the sound blueprint laid by its predecessor, and tweaks a handful of small problems that needed tweaking. The result is an even better action game, and one that no fan of the genre should hesitate to play.Nathan Drak...
