Uncharted is a fun ride.
So you look at the box of Uncharted and you look at the screen shots and whatever you saw on websites.. but when you finish the game, the first thing that is apparent is how much the game is not what you'd think it is.. and in a good way.
The best thing about Uncharted is it's pace. It quickly changes locations and gameplay styles. Sometimes it's run and gun, sometimes its Gears of War, sometimes it's a puzzle, sometimes it's a platformer.
The voice acting, animations and graphics are all high quality. The controls are tight and intuitive. If you have a PS3 check it out.
I personally think it's a rent though, as with no multiplayer the replay value isn't that appealing. You can beat it in a solid weekend. Sure you can go back and collect trinkets and treasures but whatever.. I got more games and things to do.
