    Unreal Tournament III Review

Good: Fun multiplayer, supports guest online, coop.
Bad: single player lacks an actual single player objective.
    ---------------------------------------------------------------

Unreal Tournament III is the third installment in the Unreal franchise. It is now just hit the xbox 360. It lacks mod support. And lacks a real story mode.

I wont get into the story of the game. The story mode is set up in series of matches like mulitplayer, so Deathmatch, capture the flag, and all that stuff. It can get repetitive at times, but this game does support online and offline coop up to two people. The game is broken up into acts much like Gears of War, you must finish a bunch of matches in these acts to progress in the story and see a cut scene.

The gameplay in the game is standard Unreal - Fast paced action and shoot anything that gets in your way. With a large arsenal of weapons to find on a arena, you will always feel like you can frag someone. The game types in the game are - Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Warfare, and Duel - They are all pretty fun, and can all support bots offline and will also support a splitscreen guest online or offline. Some modes support vehicles in the maps, which add a new layer of fun to the game, Usually when these maps support vehicles you can use a hover board by simply pressing a button at any time this allows for fast travel around the map.

The graphics in Unreal are stunning and always great to look at. Its one of the best looking games on the xbox 360, and rarely has texture pop in problems. The sound in the game is great, all the guns sound different and powerful and really look like they pack a punch.

Over all unreal is a fun game and will impress fans of the franchise. If you haven't tried this one yet i recommend you rent it first.

Logical, samey, and fun, but play it on the PC over consoles 0

Since 1999 Unreal Tournament has influenced the first-person shooter market with its twitch and adrenaline fueled gameplay. Each follow-up has spawned significant changes without actually overhauling the system gamers have become associated with over the years; Unreal Tournament 3 is no exception.  Lets drive toward the walking laser octopus.  Fast, furious, and full of gratuitous gore Unreal demonstrates its power best when there are numerous bodies present, preferably human-controlled. But ...

Epic's shooter makes its way to the 360, but is it worth it? 0

Unreal Tournament III was originally released in the fall of last year for the PC and PS3.
