    ut HITS THE CONSOLES!!!

    To be honest, Unreal Tournament 3 is a big letdown for any die hard Unreal Tournament fan. While the content is stripped down from Unreal Tournament 2004. With no real additions added to the game which calls it self  " a true sequel" you're left realing from how everything is structured. Regardless UT3 is still a great game. There's now a single player mode, with an okay story some twists which aren't presented as well as Gears of War but nethertheless it's okay. However at the end of the day it's still just matches with bots which is a major blow. Another thing which drags the game down is the fact it has been delayed numourous of times. The multiplayer is great but is lackluster compared to other online shooters nowadays. The gameplay feels fresh and is fast paced and addictive. However m personally I stopped playing the game because it doesn't keep you entertained for long.

      The quick twitch gameplay of Unreal is rarely seen now. Some people may view it as an "old school" style of FPS gameplay, when in fact it is a completely different style and it deserves your respect. You tell me that a FPS based on hand-eye coordination and quick reflexes can't compete and I will ask you to find a professional sport that doesn't require both. It is the kind of thing that makes a Video Game a serious spectator activity.The first thing that comes to my mind when I load up UT3 is "...

      Being a refugee from the PC world is a difficult thing, but for mostly financial reasons I have forsaken the wild, wild west of mods, over clocking and buying more ram for the stable and easy world of consoles. While it is nice to not have to buy a new video card every year there is one specific item that I have missed more then anything else: mouse and keyboard controls.
