Wow, Flemeth switched teams too? DA2 was bad, but not that bad.

Plenty of time to finish Skyrim before this comes out. Looking forward to it.

Loving this game so much. Will hopefully be done with Skyrim by the time it comes out. Also: FANTASTIC enemy designs.

Hope the game turns out to play smoothly, it's certainly looking more & more appealing.

Every video for this gets me more and more into it.

With Risen 2 next year as well, I'm gonna be pretty RPG-d out.

You think so? I was actually thinking to myself: hmm generic slightly more detailed world of warcraft enemies. But then again, I like the enemy design in Dark Souls, which doesn't really stray into real creativity that often either. Guess I am just not a great fan of this artstyle.

The various combat styles and combo system look promising. Should definitely add replayability. Nice looking game too.

I hope this turns out well. It might just be that replacement to Fable I am looking for.

@jozzy: I think the art style is one of this game's defining features. It's very Fable. Each environment looks so unique and beautifully crafted.

And some of those enemies look all sorts of terrifying. But terrifying in a cartoony way. I particularly adore those long reptile things with the face masks. Terrifying. Oh, and a genuinely unique twist on the wisps--balls of energy that seem to armor themselves in personifying pieces of wood.

Looks derivative as hell, but also pretty solid as well...

I have high hopes for this game, although the hour-long "hands on" video playthrough of it on Gameinformer looked mediocre.

So, standing in front of someone and shooting them in the face with a huge fucking bow is considered subtle?

That metallic sound as the EA logo goes away is approaching Wilhelm-Scream-like notoriety in library-based music.

This game looks a lot like World of Warcraft, stylistically. Kind of dated looking textures on some armor as well. Combat looks fun though!

Combat still seems like the biggest thing going for this game.

But fade energy sounds dumb, and archery looks like the most bland of the fighting styles, at least from the video.

My hype for Kingdoms of Amalur : Reckoning grows yet again. It will soon reach fully sized painfully throbbing anticipation, longing desperately for release. Action combat combined with the scale and depth of an Elder's Scrolls game will intoxicate me. Sweetest poison, be as good as your siren's call.

This is just looking better and better. Although I can't help but see Claudia Black as Chloe in every game she's been in recently, just like I always see Nolan North as Nathan Drake.

Ugh, the Fable-esque aesthetics/vibe never cease to disappoint me.

I'm happy this is coming to PC too. Watching this video got me pretty excited for more RPGness, even though I'm still deep into Skyrim.

Same here. Not into this candy-coloured Fable/WoW art direction. Also, too much spinning around, I don't think this game is targeted at me.

Super happy with Skyrim OTOH. Really got into Dark Soul's world as well.

This is probably my most anticipated game for 2012 at this point.

Awesome! I didn't think we'd see it till after next E3! Should tide me over nicely between finishing Skyrim and Mass Effect 3.

Kate Mulgrew was Flemeth, right? Captain Janeway herself! I think Bioware cast two of the most distinct female voices for those roles.

Really great stuff, even if the trailer here is... "inelegant" might be the word. I'm all for RPGs having combat that's actually fun and at least a little interactive.

I'm sold on the combat pretty hard. This game looks like it could be what Fable should have been. Though I'm a little worried about the writing. My experiences with RA Salvatore don't give me the greatest confidence.

"Weaponised fate" is just about one of the silliest thing I've ever heard, and I thought Dan Abnett's repeated use of "shadowfast" wasn't that bad.

Looks so goddamn bad aesthetically and graphically.

Whoa, Claudia Black. Anyway I'm interested in this. Gotta get my action RPG fix on.

Not accusing the actual developers of ripping anyone off, but I can't help but wonder...

So it looks kinda like The Elder Gods of War: Fable Creed?

Haven't really seen too much on this game. Great visual aesthetic and awesome character and enemy design. Combat looks much more action oriented than Skyrim. That seems like a nice release window for them. Get Skyrim sorta out of people's minds.

That is some dope ass combat for a rpg.

How many times can we put the word fate in here?

This game looks cool, but I don't think it's apt to describe shooting someone in the face point blank with a bow as "Subtlety".
