The first game was really fun to play with a buddy. Hopefully the sequel will be the same, which I'm sure it will.

Why cant the "good guys" joke around and play grab ass? Why do the jokers have to be the ones who laugh about killing hostages? I don't get that.

I actually liked all the bro'ing out in the first game. It did at least something to set it apart. It was a solid rental for sure.

Yeah, the first one was definitely under-rated. Too short, of course. Mutliplayer was kinda fun.

Is it just me or did anyone else notice that Ryan makes that hand movement a lot?
P.S. really looking forward to Army of Two the 40th day.

Is it just me, or did he completely side-step Ryan's concerns about the broken aggro system in the first game? He addresses nothing about the flaws, talks about how awesome it is, then diverts the conversation back to the improved AI.

I've made a little transcript for you:

------------------

RYAN: It was something that you could pretty easily exploit if you were playing with an AI partner ... make them take all the heat, and then run around and, you know, take out everyone from behind. Is that something that you're addressing here in the sequel?

ALEX: Yeah, we're definitely working on it. The aggro system you were talking about was one of the things that worked best I think in the first game. Like, It was cool, it was fresh... it was dynamic-- you couldn't avoid using it. Like, just by playing the game you were using it and it was logically consistent, so if I'm shooting, people are obviously paying attention to me and not the other guy. But the AI is a lot smarter this time around and they can do a lot more stuff, so yeah, I think people will be having fun.

What a fucking shill this guy is. No, a lot of it was NOT about how "inappropriate"  it was or the goddamn wu-tang jokes, it was, IN FACT the result of many half-baked gameplay mechanics that either were too unresponsive or simply flat out didn't work, presented in the context of what was toted by EA to be the next revolution in co-op gameplay (slick fucking paint job man).

I'm really getting sick of these asswipes always getting the right of way, never having to field the questions that point to their lack of "execution." I commend Ryan for at least approaching the issue, but what's with this trend of our journalists having to pander to these clowns just to get  a damn interview? The second someone from the media asks a relatively tough question of one of these dicksmacks, they simply pack it in and go home. And if that's not bad enough, I'm sure it's an uspoken agreement that anyone who doesn't "play nice" with the publishers and such (i.e. lick their goddamn boots), no one else will talk with said media personnel.

At the very least, balance of power should be somewhere in between, but in all honesty, the current should be going the OTHER way! If these wolves want to keep playing their red herring, go fish, i'm not acountable for nothin' games, then they don't get to pimp their product. Simple as that. I can only imaging how hard it was for Ryan to stand there--in awe--and listen to such a ludicrous response, when it could have just as easily been handled professionally.

It's like bizarro world, and the dumbest person in the room get's the mic.

He said stories in video games are too complicated...I always thought most stories are too simple. That said, complicated doesn't always mean good.

Also most moral choices seem to be, either stop and bake a cake for him, give your kidney to him and hand over all your money or torture him, rape his wife and tea bag his corpse. I don't know about you guys, but it never seems that obvious IRL what the best option is. Usually you try to do good, but sometimes it ends up hurting them more in the long run and such.

I hope the moral choices are implemented well or else it'll just feel ham fisted. I enjoyed the first game for the stupid fun. Perhaps the second game will have more believable seriousness.

Is a contrived set of moral choices the new OMG AWESOME SELLING POINT of the year? Figures, since the developers these days can't find a way to add more bloom or motion blur and they are running out of shades of brown .

The first game sucked beyond belief. I'm curious to see what they'll do with the sequel but I'm not giving my hopes up for it like I did with the first lump of shit of a game.

Let's hope this game doesn't have that stupid ass region-locking like the first game did. Me and my friend in the UK played the demo, then decided to rent the full game. Turns out we couldn't play together.

I thought they should have called this Army of Three or Army of Four and had 3 or 4 player coop, step it up from the first game.
