Just not feeling this game. Loved the first. (bought it twice 360/PS3) Not too excited in this one. I feel the MP was not needed. Time could've been better spend on more SP content.

Is it only me or does the question "How old are you?" sound a bit demeaning?

I'm not 35 years old, but I'm gonna click it anyway since I'm so naughty.

i wish the look of the game didn't look exactly the same as Bioshock 1. thats kind of a bummer. 
whats the hold up on the Bioshock 2 Quicklook?

The AI looks dumb as shit.

Where is the "OMG IT'S A BIG DADDY RUN!" A.I.? Seems kind of weird that they treat you like they treated you in Bioshock 1. 
I'll reserve my judgement till I play it tho.

I didn't think that a fight with crazy weapons and psychic powers could be so boring.

Not to jump on the bandwagon, but I've yet seen anything to get me hyped for Bioshock 2.

I'm thinking the same thing i did when i saw the sequel to Starship Troopers. I don't need more, i was full the first time around.

I'm looking forward to seeing what Jeff has to say (his review should be up in an hour or two apparently).  Having recently replayed the original, I've very excited for this.  The setting is still the biggest draw for me.  The original did such a great job at creating its own world that if the sequel can match that, I know I'll have fun.

I fail to see any improvement over the first one. Also, considering how overpowered the Big Daddies were in the first one, I'm surprised the player character doesn't pack more of a punch. But I guess that is to be expected.

I truly believe so. The person playing this demo could not be any more terrible. I'm not saying they should get some FPS wizard to run through it, but wow, at least get someone competent. BioShock 2 in all honesty could be totally fine but every video that gets released makes me feel worse and worse about this game. At this point, it's not even a rental for me.

I hate to say this, but that was just meh, nothing too exciting in fact I think I am less excited than I was before seeing the CG trailer.  I thought that the game would end up feeling different but it kinda looks exactly the same, I mean heck his left hand is a regular human size hand, I thought it should be huge given he is a Big Daddy.  I don't know it just doesn't seem different enough, when they were trying to establish that its a totally different game, or at least play style, now that you are the first Big Daddy.

....What?  Honestly?
 
Why were the splicers not saying anything?  This combined with bad video editing made for a horrible impression.

Weird that they left out the splicer dialogue and music, guess they didn't want to spoil those bits? :p
Hope this was just footage of easy mode because it looks stupidly easy in these vids, guy was mowing through the enemies.

How come there aren't any voices? Kinda lame that the only thing you hear is gunfire.

I'm on the borderline of whether or not to preorder on Steam. I actually didn't enjoy the first game so much, played it once through and was done with it. But honestly, the reason why I didn't enjoy Bioshock 1 was because of the clunky combat and the repetitive big daddy boss battles, both of which seem to be fixed in Bioshock 2. So if the story holds to the first game and the multiplayer is fun and persistent, the game will be worth it.

Yea, trailer didn't look so hot. Can't you use a sight on the guns or are we stuck trying to estimate the hit zone and missing repeatedly like the guy playing this montage?

Yeah, it looks like the player was calm and collected without taking any damage.  The tension in the first game was in part from actually being threatened by enemies.  Now it seems you're just a tank taking out splicers too easily. "

He was probably playing on easy, so he didn't get his ass beaten in the trailer.
