BioShock 2 Launch Trailer

Alright. Now I want to play this game.

I can not wait for the day you sit there and play a game and it is looking like that real time. Were sooo close. Cant wait.

Not sure about this game... Day 1 buy either way though.

Looks good all things considered but seeing this makes me want to play the first one again, not a sequel that feels half-hearted in why it was made. Will still rent it at some point but not in any rush.

Can't wait to never buy this game!

Bioshock did not need a sequel i dont think i will be buying this

That was fucking amazing. How can you hate on this game when this trailer has more story to it then most games?

I don't get people when they say bioshock 2 wasn't all that good, when it first came out people were saying it was amazing.  The first Bioshock was great and (hopefully) this one will be great.

Bioshock was too damn confusing, and the gameplay wasn't really they're. Also, I've made a commitment to not buy any more games for at least 2 months. I really want to go and do other stuff and play older games with my friends.

Honestly, I can't wait til the day fps games are this surreal and intense. We should be striving to reach this level of awesomeness.

Two things:  
 
1. I had to REALLY strain to see that Bomberman likeliness. I mean...it's a bit of a stretch in my opinion. It never occurred to me when I was watching it until I read the comments and still had to try to imagine what made it akin to Bomberman. Then I realized it was the whole "round head with straight lines for eyes" thing.  
 
2. I don't really understand all the malice towards this game and its new direction with action instead of focusing on story. I mean, I was under the impression that this was not a prequel but merely a "side-story" if you will; as in, it's taking place at the same time or around the same time that the first one took. In conjunction, if the main aspect to this game is being a Big Daddy, don't you think it'd primarily focus on action in its gameplay mechanics?  
 
I dunno, I think this is going to be pretty awesome, maybe not the most mind-boggling story I've ever seen in a video game. I do like a good story, but there are other games for that and other types of games (keeping it relevant to games, if I wanted a really damn good story I'd read a book or watch a good movie). 

I'm so insecure about Bioshock 2. Maybe insecure isn't the right word. I am afraid. I played and loved the first one. But, playing Bioshock was nothing like playing a videogame. At least, for me it wasn't. It had such an impact on me. When I finished playing Bioshock I had a strange feeling. A feeling of relief. Although I loved Bioshock and I think it is an awesome game and surely one of the best of the decade, I was relieved and happy to finish it. The only thing I wanted from Bioshock was distance. I started to fear Bioshock. This strange emotions led to me not ever playing again Bioshock. It led to me having negative feeling towards Bioshock. I started to block myself from what happened in that game which led to me actually remembering so little about Bioshock . I started to hate Bioshock. And that is where I am at. I know, it is very very strange. If it helps you understand this better, it has similarities to Dead Space. But, in a whole different level. In Dead Space, I was also kinda of relieved to finish the game. But, it was partially because the game was 2/3 hours too long. And yes, the weird stuff that happened was also a factor. But, it didn't have the effects past me finishing the game. Actually, I played a 2nd time six months back. So, yeah. Bioshock 2.

Cool trailer, but I still can't get hyped for it. Everything was done in the first one. What is the point of going back?

That trailer would have been cool, if you weren't doing an escort mission in it.
If that girl has a life bar I will hold a grudge.

As much as I'm totally against this game in every way, that was a cool trailer.

Very subtle at the end there. He Will Be Born. I'm sure that means nothing. Nothing at all. Definitely doesn't allude to a plotwist that will eventually occur. That's silly.

they totally miss the mark here. I played bioshock for the story and atmosphere NOT the action

A game with a static ending that doesn't leave much room.

Guess they should've gone with BioShock: Origins!

I love the first Bioshock so much, but I'm wary about the sequel.
 
This trailer is using my affection for the first to get me excited about the second... and it's working, dammit.

I thought this was a really cool-looking trailer. I also don't really understand the anti-BS2-bandwagon.

This looks like the ultimate game for people who just want to kill some child molesters with the force and a big ass mining drill. Sign me up!
