There's no ranged class with physical attacks a-la amazon, yet.  I figure if they are adding ranged weapons at all the next class will cater to those weapons.

As long as one of the classes lets me make my army of minions I'm happy. I'm a pet whore guy, my first class i always play in games is the one that summons or has pets of some kind.

I've never played a Diablo game before but it does look pretty good. Might have to make a purchase.

The loot grabbing was Diablo's only flaw for me.  The fact that it's being fixed is great.

I am really excited for this game but you know it will be a Q3/Q4 2010 release at the very earliest (though I'd wager summer 2011 tbh)...
 
I think they showed the game waaaay too early; this year should have been the unveiling of it. Reason I say this is because Diablo doesn't need to do that much marketing because people already know what it is.

(I am playing a lot of Titan Quest + exp atm and just trying to pretend it's DIII >.<)....

Diablo 2 LOD was out by 2001, this POS is coming out Winter 2011 and limits us to 4 players online.  I just built my P.C. rig that can ass rape Crysis on VERY HIGH and the best excuse Blizzard has is because of gameplay and not technical limitations that they are not willing to spend the money and face.

I'm still going to buy Starcraft 2 because that game looks fucking outstanding, it has everything I liked about the original and added soo much more its insane.  The single player even has RPG elements to lvl up the units you like the most and even have the ability to kill off a major character in-game.

Fuck yeah Leonard Boyarsky! This dude was partly responsible for the look of the original Fallout. I can totally see that influence in this wastelandish environment.
 
Kinda surprised you didn't ask him if the look of this environment had anything to do with the bitching and moaning of those that want muted colors and darkness or if it was just a return to familiarity.

I do like the blizzard "when it's done" attitude. 

So it seems since they're relying on this "archetype" style of character design, the final class will likely be an equivalent to the Paladin: a buff/debuff class made specifically for multiplayer. Sweet!

Great questions Brad! I really think this team working on Diablo 3 really understand Diablo. They said they want to get the mood right which is the way to go.

It's awesome that Tom Savini is making Diablo 3... nah, just kidding, but the guy looks just like him!

Why would this game not be released for 8 players?  Do we have to wait for an expansion ala LoD for eight players and expanded inventory slots :P
