Oh, fuck yes. I didn't get to watch this live and this is EXACTLY what I want to be watching while I'm working today. Thanks, Drew!

Posted by zudthespud

This is perfect background material for this evening's Trackmania.

Posted by GTCknight

I'm split right now. On one hand I'm happy this exists, on the other I'm pissed-off that I will only get a chance to watch this at 12:00 am tonight.

Posted by Chris2KLee

Getting some popcorn, gonna enjoy this.

Posted by AuthenticM

HELL FUCKING YES

(pun not intended)

Posted by Rayeth

Brad will never bend, never Break!

Posted by Fubar

The PC version looks so much better ...

Posted by Canteu

This looks awful without a mouse.

Posted by Faltru

Excellent, I needed a valid distraction.

Posted by astonish

YES!

Posted by nickux

Multiple parts? This is gonna be good!!

Posted by depecheload

It's actually impossible to beat the game on Nightmare, because there's a level that you can't clear until you defeat all the enemies, and since they respawn in Nightmare you're kind of screwed forever.

Doom was never played with a mouse (at least, the mouse support it had was terrible - it was used for movement rather than aiming, it kinda worked for looking left and right, but moving the mouse up and down made you walk forwards and backwards, which was not exactly comfortable), it was played with the arrow keys on the keyboard.

May I request a Breaking Brad, Dark Souls edition?

Edited by Linkster7

YAY, this is gonna be sweet

EDIT: I'm going crazy watching all of them not getting where they need to go. Stop running away from that button! That's the way!

That is incorrect.

Sweet. Missed most of it when it was life.

Thank you Brad. This is great.

Sorry, but why is brad playing doom on a 360 instead of a PC?

(Sorry if it's obvious and I'm just not getting it.)

Posted by AlexW00d

Doom on an xbox? Fucking Giant Bomb.

Posted by EmoMcGee

Thanks for this. :)

Because there is an achievement for beating it on Ultra Violent. Doom for MS-DOS does not have that. Haven't all Breaking Brads so far been about getting one of the hardest achievements to get in their respective games?

when was this live?

Edited by evanbower

Alright, I've got my coffee, I've got a free day ahead of me, and I missed this on Friday. I'm in.

EDIT: I forgot that pre-millenial FPS' make me crazy motion sick.

Posted by JayCee

Sure, why not.

Yay finally!

Yeah, I did all my Dooming back in the day on a Gravis gamepad.

When was this live?

I always miss the live events.

They should do one where Brad grinds out Seriously 3.0 over 17 million hours. Think of all the content!

Great watching Brads face reactions while playing. Great placements as well :D One of the best uses of the tricaster yet?

Agreed. Whoever thought to place him over the Doom marine's face needs a pay raise.

There a lot of sound effects in this that sound like Diablo sound effects. Similar settings and all that, or something more insidious? (Daemonic?!)

Posted by SuperSambo

Why is there such an outrage about it being played on a 360 over the PC? The PC didn't exactly have the best control method.

That worked too, and the 360 controller maps perfectly to games that supported it using DosBox.

Probably a common royalty free stock sound library.

I missed chunks of this on Friday so it's good this is up now.

Yeah, they both have so many enemy types it would make sense they'd use a lot of stock sounds.

I second this.

I feel like Brad is breaking himself with that sensitivity setting.

Posted by AndrewB

Oh man. It's about time. I miss live shows too frequently due to this thing called sleep and a job.

Posted by Patman99

Breaking Brad continues to be my favourite stuff

Posted by TheDrewggernaut

I really wish he played some Nightmare, constantly spawning enemies and all.

Posted by Lazyaza

Man I wish Id would just make a real Doom sequel at long last in the vein of Painkiller and Serious Sam but with the same massive budget they would reserve for garbage like Rage.
