Call of Duty: Black Ops Reveal Trailer

I'm far more excited than I expected to be.

If they can bring this back form the crap that was MW2...

I don't care at all. I'll pirate it to try out the first mission, but probably won't finish it. If history taught us anything about the CoD games, is that the ones that aren't made by IW suck.

I'm not turned off by the "Treyarch" label - I'm turned off by fucking "Black Ops" - hope thats a working title.

I don't know, I mean what are you supposed to think when you see that?  It was just a jumble of words and pictures.

Well, it's Vietnam all right.

Hope that they have co-op in the campaign like in World at War. That is something that is really lacking in the Modern Warfare games.

Horrible video. Pausing it and looking at some of the 'blink and you'll miss them' screenies is far more interesting.

Flashback ! The whole interrogation scene reminds me of EA's Black. I think this game will have the same flashback theme. Everyone will hate it , because of controversy. I like  Treyarch games and do not understand the IW lovefast.

Well............ that really made me want to see more!!  However....... we will have to see if the game is any good!  For now we will have to be cautiously optimistic for this game. 

I'm a little excited for this game. As long as ''ts fun to play and i'm enjoying it, it's good enough for me.
 
As for a day 1 purchase.? No.  Various factors of verry little info on this game, other big releases for 2k10 and my back-catalouge of unfinished games.

It doesn't matter if it were Treyarch or Infinity Ward, this trailer looked like balls and Call Of Duty's name has been stamped into the ground so many times it made it to Dinosaur Comics.

Looks better than I expected, for all you can tell from a teaser trailer like that, but Treyarch still have to prove they can make a good game so for all the wizz bang it could still play like a dog.  I'll wait for some hands on impressions with this.

I hope they go full on with depictions of controversial tactics that only Black Ops wouldn't be above for. Attention would only help this franchise recoup after IW sea change.

I want my god damn Fortunate Son Blasting FULL ON Vietnam Call Of Duty game.  That's it.  Just do that.

There really wasn't much to get a feel for in that trailer, Why not wait until you can actually see what the gameplay is like?

Whenever Treyarch are called to attention, they always get such polarising views on them. Personally, I think they're past games were surprisingly pretty good. World at War was quite enjoyable and close to what COD was really about.
 
Glad to see they finally pulled out of WW2 for their COD iteration.

first of all. CODWAW was a good game. sure, treyarch just builds upon infinity ward's work, but they beef it up.  again, this is not IW, so they do have a different philosophy/approach to COD. IW does more story twists with an almost perfect feel for how the guns shoot, TA adds more crazy gratuitous features (for the hell of the fun, such as severed limbs and of course zombies). I like both. IW for a high quality shooter (despite MW2's glitches/bugs) and TA for their insane 'gamey-ness' which is almost like a good B movie. So far, Black Ops looks interesting to me, with that assassin's creed touch and the presence of big boss. lol jk. no for real, it looks interesting enough for me to keep an eye on it. Drag and revive, possibility of improved zombie maps (just a thought, not in the teaser), and using both real history and conspiracy-style fiction in reference to the cold war/espionage stuff and the aftermath of the vietnam war. WHY NOT?
