Catwoman Prowls Around Arkham City

That's either Kath Soucie or Grey DeLisle as Catwoman. Either way, she's got a super-sexy voice;) 
 
Speaking of voices; how many of those thugs are voiced by that guy who did Spike Spiegel, and is the current voice of Wolverine and Starscream? That guy seems to do EVERY VOICE nowadays, now that Nolan North has backed down for awhile. 
 
Anyway, the game's amazing -- we all know that:) Now, we just wanna play it.

It's Day 1 for sure, but I hope the flying/gliding doesn't remove the Metroid/Zelda/Castlevania elements of new gadgets enabling access to new areas.

So sexy. Catwoman's got nothing on Arkham City, despite some rough graphical aspects here and there.

Personally I like the fact that catwoman is in this, it'll be a fun change I'm sure and she looks quite cool. Also psyched for this game.

I could not be less interested in Catwoman. The rest of the game however, can't wait.

Some people don't like that catwoman and batman seem so similar, but I actually kind of relieved. I'd rather them play the same and be alternated for story purposes, than to have her be a completely different style that I was forced to play and did not enjoy.

EDIT: Also, really excited to finally see gameplay footage and confirm my hype. First time getting to see it in action.

That certainly did the trick, I really hope challenge mode is expanded on. I want tons more of that.

Ugh, she is so unconvincing. What is she, a librarian reading a book? Look at her face. And those lines man, cheesy as hell. The game seems OK though. It will be fun to see if it can top Arkham Asylum.

I want to know what Marcus Fenix is doing in Arkham City. Looks like he gained a few pounds too.

Between this, Portal 2, and Uncharted 3...boy o boy is the GOTY going to be tough to pick.  I bet GB will have a 4+ hour long podcast of just deciding GOTY.

God this looks great!  Its impossible for me not to love this series.  Its such a rare gem.  A super hero game that isnt a fucking worthless movie cash in, or POS that isnt just using the licence to prop up the game as its only high point.  Rock on Rocksteady!

It's weird, because this year has some of the sequels of predecessors that are my favorite games of all time, but I'm not really all that excited for any of them. Arkham City being one of them. Hopefully I'll be excited as I play through these games to come out.

Did you play Arkham Asylum? If not, then I can assure you the combat is -not- button mashing.

You can play through Arkham Asylum with just button mashing your way through the combat. I sure did. I didn't even realize there was a much deeper system there until I heard others talk about it long after my play through. The fighting system is as deep as you'd like it to be it seems.

My friend is a big Batman fan, so when I bought AA I let him play it first. He put it on easy and started mashing square for about two hours. I just wanted to punch him in the face. that's why I don't like watching people play videogames.

The cool thing is you can totally button mash on the normal difficulty without any problems also! Yea! I'm sure you'd have to play better/smarter on harder difficulties. That's pretty much every game ever though.

Catwoman melee seems to lack that heavy hard hitting feeling of Batman's combo's
