I really like the costume designs so far. The armor has some unique design flairs and the clothes are much more colorful.

That narrator sounds a LOT like Malik Al-Sayf from the original game.

Neat to see a trailer showing the world from a supporting character's POV.

I wonder if he'll critisize everything Ezio does too. :)

I loved Malik and Altair's banter in AC1.

@Jedted: Best exchange?

"Safety and peace, Malik."

"Your presence here deprives me of both!"

I happen to like the ways they're tying in the first game, not unlike the cues from GTA III that they stuck into GTA IV.

I'm glad we're finally getting away from Italy. It was beautiful in Assassin's Creed II, but felt a little redundant in Brotherhood.

I believe this is the first time I've heard Romani people mentioned as just that, in a game at least. It seems like "gypsies" is otherwise the dominant term in most popular culture.

@OldGuy: It was Constantinople because of Emperor Constantine who started the Byzantine Empire, then the Ottomans took over and eventually renamed it Istanbul because they were honoring their enemies triumph.

Can't wait to clamber on the Hagia Sophia and explore Topkapi Palace. One of my favorite pastimes in these games is exploring and admiring the architecture. These guys do such an amazing job in modeling them accurately.
