They went through 5 or six different iterations for the main character.....and ended up with Nathan Drake.

I'm "kinda" excited, looks like it could be kinda really cool, i hope it's cool. Depends on the reception i guess, wait and see.

I was down for this game till the demo. This has swayed me a bit, it looks seriously more polished. But still sketchy...if this was their last shot at convincing me,  its most likely a rent.

Batman has given me a whole new look on games.  I'll certainly give it a try despite my initial reaction.

I was excited.  Then I played the demo.  It's definitely not something I need to play right away.  I'll pick it up later, cheaper.

Ill play it through, but i'm not leaping out of my chair to get it. I'll probably enjoy it, and then never think of it again

I am incredibly bothered by the teeth in this trailer.

It doesn't look terrible, per se, but it does look mediocre and forgettable.

I dunno...demo...I dunno...

The demo was fun but the game is a bit short with no multiplayer. If it sells well maybe the next game will have it. I hope these new games do well this year just so we are not stuck with safe games forever.

Wow, throughout the whole video the only person that seemed to have confidence in the game was the pitch man. Crap. I was really hoping it was going to be good.

I really wanted to like this game but the demo just turned me off on this.

Two things.
First, this is shaping up to be a game I can only give a fair opinion to after a full playthrough. I can appreciate that, so I'm done with the promos, they're not helping anymore.
Second, the Dead Rising 2 team must be bricking multiple pants right now to nail down a AA(A) title from show floor to sales floor, in the good name of "Capcom West" development.  Godspeed folks.

It's kinda sad that all these developers seem to think they were creating something special and groundbreaking when infact it's just turned out to be a mediocre game..

i still have yet to try the demo. The thing that really sucks for this game, is its going up against Mass Effect 2! yeesh

I've seen him with his helmet, and I've seen him without it. I've flown with the jetpack in the demo. I've seen a bunch of vertical combat clips. I've already played Uncharted 2 to death. Now they spoil the story and tell me the people are going to revolt. I don't have a whole lot to look forward to here.@RainbowRaccoon said:

I don't get why everyone is so down on this game all of a sudden. The demo wasn't bad and it still looks pretty cool to me.

i was one of those rare people who actually had fun with the demo, but this still looks like a pretty flawed game. the cutscenes in particular just rub me the wrong way for some reason... they seem stilted. all in all this seems like something i might fish out of the bargain bin later on in the year, but not a day one purchase by far

The character is essentially Nathan ZACHARY, the player character in the two Crimson Skies games, of which the team that is making Dark Void is basically evolved from.

Fuck, these comments depressed me. This is probably the game i'm most looking forward to this year, and after a lot of positive comments, all of a sudden, a week before release, everyone's hating on it. I guess I'm still not used to the internet
