I really want this!

This can easily be my GotY :) Love the original Darksiders.

I guess I'll keep an eye on this, never really got into the first Darksiders tough, from what I played and from what I saw.

That's some Shadow of the Colossus type shit. I guess that's Death's super form?

Played the first one recently because of the Patrick hype and it was ok. I finished it.

I liked the first one, this one looks really cool, but I need to see more gameplay.

There should be a thing for all the video game trailers that end in the hero jumping at a giant monster and it cutting away at the last second.

I wonder how it plays. I never played the original mainly because I was actually kind of put off by the Zelda-esque gameplay as I hate backtracking.

If they rip off Shadow of the Colossus mechanics as well as they ripped of Zelda, this could be a FANTASTIC game.

Maybe it's only the sense I get from this trailer.

Is there any actual gameplay videos of the game anywhere? I loved the first one but I'm still not sure if I want to pre-order the sequel.

In the trailer that came out before this one, it tried to kill him.

Was that the equivalent of Death going Super Saiyan?

I would not be surprised if this game turned out to be my GotY, just as its predecessor was two years ago.

So this is going to be "Darksiders II: Shadow of the Colossus" ? If this one does as good as job emulating that as Darksiders 1 did of emulating Zelda then count me in.

I liked the first game, and I'm optimistic for this one, but the trailers are trying waaaaaaaaay too hard to play up the "badass" angle.

SOLD! I wanted this after seeing the ending of the first game!

Death reminds me of like sackboy or something for some reason. His looks don't quite fit the badass angle they are trying to play.

I honestly wish I'd managed to get into darksiders I, because given the guys hype for that and how awesome this looks, I might be missing out

Isn't it such a shame that this appears to be nothing to do with the ending we say in the first one? That ending got me so pumped for Darksiders 2, then this happened and I think ease of creation + long term profitability meant one character at a time was chosen. Shame, but I still hope it will be good.

I enjoyed the first one; I just hope the mechanics are a bit more useful this time (a lot of items, combos, wrath powers, etc... seemed to be completely useless.)

Just one question...if Death can run (and kill a bunch of demons) faster than his horse can run, why does he need a horse?

I bet that when you unlock the horse someone will say "...rides a pale horse"

I heard this isn't actually a sequel, more of a prequel. Its apparently set in the time when War was locked in prison for starting the apocalypse

there should be a prize for best CGI trailer of the year, so many trailers... so many good trailers... now if only the games were just as good :(

Just joining the ranks here: loved Darksiders.

From that year it's now the game I look back on most fondly.

Absolutely dying to get my hands on D2.

I want to get my "hands-on" this game.

Surprisingly, this is one of my most anticipated of the year. And if Death is more about agility than brute force, I'll have a damn good time because that's how I prefer playing my action games.

Well, that trailer was generic as hell.

Something to look forward to in August, can't wait.

All HD streams have been rubbish for me ever since the new video window was launched. This took 10 minutes to watch. And it's not my connection.
