"the company that brought you call of duty" ... so I guess all activision games all of a sudden are supposed to be amazing, no matter what studio made it.

Kind of hope it doesn't come to PC just so I can stop hearing about master race BS. Being a person who plays on everything, hearing that crap just makes me zone out.

@rukus: I'm a pretty avid PC gamer, but I almost hope they don't release it on PC because I'm tired of seeing these comments. They are under no obligation to release their game on any platforms they don't want to release it on. Especially since, like it or not, it will sell a zillion copies across the consoles.

Right because the amount it would sell on PC wouldn't justify it existing on it? Why would they throw away money?

There are a grand total of 0 people in this comment thread outside of yourself that brought up any of that "master race" stuff. All I see are people hoping a game they want to play comes to the platform they like to play games on. Basically what I am saying is chill out.

I haven't followed any of the press on this outside of this trailer. It looks like the most generic shooter imaginable. Outside of the Halo pedigree, what's so exciting about this?

Bleh a console "beta" but nothing for PC? I'd imagine that a PC version would be far more likely to require an actual beta, to ensure the game runs on a myriad of different configurations. I guess it's once more time to "wait and see"..

@brainling: I can understand that. As much as I want everyone to get a chance to play every game without having to plop down money on every single platform, the need for games to be on PC is about as irritating to me as every hardcore Vita fan demanding every game come to that platform. It gets hard to read comments when people start to whine (not that I think anyone here is... yet... wait for it :P).

JUST PREORDER IT DAMMIT!!!!

Just went and pre-ordered this, and the guy at Gamestop apparently charged all of the credit on my Gamestop card instead of the minimum. I know I can't cancel it now, but does anyone know if I'd be able to reduce my pre-order to the minimum and get that money back? I was saving that for a PS4 controller.

The Halo games didn't get many ports, but they were just great for console shooters. This thing could make a killing on all platforms. It's practically got Borderlands written all over it. It'd be hubris not to put it out everywhere.

Funny how their jackets flap around like they are on Earth. Except they are on the Moon, where there is very little gravity.

It kinda reminds me of an HD version of that one Unreal tournament game. The one that played in 3rd person and had Raiden as an unlockable character.

Oh wow you are actually right, i don't know why but somehow i had the impression they also announced this for PC, going multi-plat and all. Guess i got it confused with Titanfall. Well now this has gotten way less interesting :/

If only they didn't wait centuries with their super advanced technology and simply attacked in 1866 or something it would have gone a lot smoother for the aliens.
