From what I've read and heard so far, this sounds like everything I ever wanted in a fantasy RPG. Can't wait to see it in action.

you guys should sit down and interview Curt Schilling one of these days.  That would be something cool to see since he's in the business now that he's retired from baseball.

Funny, as soon as they mentioned mixing skill trees, I was thinking "Rogue with some magic would be fun!" Then he goes on and suggests just that. It seems interesting, even though I don't play RPG's all that much. 

This game sounds oddly like Divine Divinity, but action. Open world hack n' slash RPG without pre-defined skill trees. Also like Divine Divinity? The generic fantasy feel of everything.

Damn, Executive Creator of Worlds is a bad-ass title.

The game mechanics sound interesting.  Now lets hope this doesn't become another mediocre fantasy RPG.

For a brief moment the RPG Fighting Game in Jeff's head had me really excited. 
 
Talking about this game at this stage of development is STILL something, I am going to ignore. I want to see gameplay. I want to get hands-on with it, to truly comprehend what this game is and what it does.
 
I could not care less about the high rollers on that team - although, there really are some big ass names involved in it.

Joystiq gave this game a pretty glowing preview. If the game can live up to it's promise it will be pretty fucking dope. Here's hoping. 

Very interested in this. Sounds like they've got a lot of interesting ideas as far as character progression and combat. Plus, Ken Rolston, R.A. Salvatore and Todd McFarlane is a hell of a lot of talent for one. Hopefully they show it in action soon.

R.A. Salvatore wrote the lore?!  Awesome!  I love him as a writer.  Read all 14 or so Legend of Drizzt books.  I just went from mildly interested to can't wait to hear more about it.

I like lore in RPGs, I loved reading the books in Morrowind and Oblivion. With such a defined backstory, I hope there's something like that in the game.

Have to say, the graphics style is different than I was expecting based on the previously released CG trailer. I'm not sure if that's a good or a bad thing in the end, but it looks fine -- and it's definitely unique for an open-world RPG. I was already intrigued, given the pedigree of the people working on the game, but I would really like to see what the gameplay looks like in action.
