They are setting up the world your playing in since everythings gone to shit whit the last human city destroyed(you thought you saved it in GOW2, Ha! think again). You seem to mistake that just because someone is doing an action game they automaticaly have to be explotions and boobs. Also, this was first shown on national TV. I don't think the COGS and Locust are teaming it up. If you pay close attention during the last few scenes you will see that the squad is shooting at the new enemy and the Locust.
 
PS: I hope they didn't kill off Baird I liked him.

First two games were fairly average if you ask me. Not very excited for this one.

I thought this was some Bill Callahan song I'd never heard. Then I realized it's Mark Kozelek. Weird.

I watched five minutes of Jimmy Fallon mugging and giggling his way through and interview for this clip last night...worth it. So worth it.

Been playing a ton of Horde this month, I'm excited about getting this!

Honestly, this actually makes me wanna play GoW 2 so i can catch up on the story and play this one. I know the story probably isn't super epic, but this is enough to make me give it a chance.
