Gears 2 multiplayer is garbage.

I'd love to get into the beta, but Projectile Hurricane was just a rental for me. 
I could buy the game just to get into the beta, but that would be dumb, right?

Weapon balance was never something that Gears did right, let's see if they fix it.

This is looking really good so far, can't wait for the beta.

I'm a huge Gears fan, but it seems like Epic maybe working a little to hard to make the multiplayer not intimidating. Going out of their way to cater to the casual crowd. Trying to make everyone happy never works. I'm worried when I see COG players glowing blue, and the Locust glowing red. Also new weapons, where accuracy doesn't matter. What's next? Mario as a downloadable character. "

If this game still possesses no verticallity and the bland as shit colour palette, I'm really not interested.  Gears two was really fun online and playing horde mode, but the single player portion was absolute shit.  Story was terrible and basically consisted of you running from forced cover to forced cover that all just happens to be the same height.  They could seriously take some lessons from vanquish.
 
Still, I really hope this game deilvers or else my xbox won't be seeing much use this year.

Ok this game actually looks kinda awesome. If it has better hit detection and connection indicators. I'm sold.

The only thing I don't like about the Gears of War multiplayer is how it's a you die and you're out until the next round. I like dying and getting back into the action within a few seconds.

Man, didn't think X360 was capable of those sort of visuals! I'll have to re-add this to my most wanted list.

Hopefully 3rd time is the charm and they improve the netcode.

The game looks really great.  Animation is super smooth, the textures are really detailed, and the color palette is a lot more... colorful.  I've never played a Gears game, but there's a lot to like about the presentation here.
 
Oh, and I seriously didn't know they changed from Epic MegaGames to Epic Games.  i'm a little saddened.

I really hope that matchmaking by skill works, I would love to play  Gears multiplayer and not get my ass whooped every time.  One of several reasons I have yet to get into Gears of War multiplayer.  Great interview!
