Ughhhhhh FF13 was pretty damn bad. And I wasted 50 hours of my life on it. I won't be making THAT mistake again.

Say what you J-RPGs but they are always epic adventures. Maybe a bit cliché at parts, but I still regard the ending of FFX to be one of the most memorable ones ever.

Well atleast they are adding in the content that should have never been left out of 13, but, (broken record) unless they get some decent writers back on--board it ain't gonna work. Replaying 9 atm with my friend (his first time) and that has some mello drama-cheese in it, but it's delievered in a charming tongue-in-cheek kinda way and by likeable characters, in well-written dialogues.

I say this as a person who has been playing Final Fantasy games for over 10 years and one of the biggest defenders of FF13.... the FF team have finally gone absolutely insane. This is the most bat-shit collection of weird I have seen in a long time and this game will be terrible.

I should probably finish FFXIII one day... ewwww, made myself sick just now.

I'll go play FF VI and remember better days.

I'm glad to have experienced XIII though for its stellar soundtrack and yes, it's a pretty game.

It's just... confusing and disappointing. Like an ex-lover, still beautiful and often looks full of potential and promise... until you turn on your ears and hear the endless river of crazy that flows forth reminding you how far apart you've really grown. I'm sure the action you'd get is flashy, fun, and frequent, but do you really need to deal with the kind of melodrama on display here in your life at this age? You've grown up, they... clearly haven't. Honestly, a giant bomb's been avoided here. Just save the good memories, enjoy the time you had together and move on.

Please, playable moogle character. Strap it on!

Uhh?.. Should this contain a spoiler warning? This trailer seemed to show most of the story which, sadly reminds me of FFX 2 where instead of looking for Tidus the player looks for Lightning? Not too mention the other numerous staples of the Final Fantasy series present in this.

Also very glad I wasn't the only one who was thinking Whitney Houston. So very, very glad.

FFX-2 or FFXIII-2?

I will GLADLY play this as long as the strict linearity of 13 has been addressed. PLEASE, AT LEAST GIVE ME THE ILLUSION OF EXPLORATION WITH SOME TOWNS AND A WORLD MAP!

So I quit about three minutes into the video. Hopefully it's just the trailer, but that was kind of nonsense that seemed to end with a fade to black, only for another trailer to start.

The beginning of the trailer makes the story in this game seem like the most contrived and arbitrary thing ever. I mean, an evil portal just happened to open after the first game? Ugh.

Also, 7 minute trailer is the most crazy.

@TimmyChaw: This trailer was the first time in a while I've said "what!?" in a good way at in probably 6 months. Shouted it about five times, and ended with a nice drawn out "fuuuuck" for the ending. This video got me way more pumped for this game than anything prior. Super super excited! You're not alone! :D

I'm getting it day 1

Pretty excited for this, really glad they decided to continue to spend some more time in the XIII world. After how much time they spent setting it up in XIII, it'd be a shame not to spend more time on it. Probably one of my more anticipated games for this year, even if it just barely makes it within the year.

God damn, I'm gonna have to buy this soundtrack.
