I played the demo at Target today. If I were getting a system this year I would totally buy it. Pretty, brawly fun. The seamless way Knack grew and shrunk was really cool.

I can't wait to play this with my buddy Kameo.

Hoping the game has a much larger scale than just a simple beat em up. It does look beautiful though.

So? it looks like Crash Bandicoot (we all know who worked on that game right?) I still play Crash from time to time on my Vita. This game just screams early Sony style of games and heck, Im going to give it a try!

Vita version looks great, can't wait to see how the PS4 version looks.

I was gonna post some kind of Kameo-related pun, but this will do.

The visuals are nice - nothing mind-blowing, but nice. If I were 15 years younger I'd probably have a great time playing this with my brother.... but as it stands I'm just not seeing the appeal. It seems like a pretty standard brawler. I might be wrong about that - I'll wait for reviews - but I'm probably not going to get this game. It doesn't look bad, it just doesn't look like the type of game for me.

I can already see it is a 6/10 game... pass.

The Wii U has better exclusives this fall than the PS4 lol.

Anyone else noticed how everything destroyed in this demo, just disappears in a couple seconds. I can't wait for my PS4, but this game really worries me. I mean if Cerny was constructing the PS4 how much time did he really invest in this game?

I totally agree this looks like a downloadable game. I am probably a bit more underwhelmed after this trailer, I thought others looked better. Outside of the sheer number of particles I don't even think it looked next gen. This also looks like it would get real old real quick. Does he not have any abilities or transformations or anything?

Can anyone tell me where the trailer music is from? It sounds SO familiar, almost like they copy pasted or used some generic music.

My only question is could I use the Vita as second controller for this, or would I need 2 PS4 controllers?

Probably a cliche idea, but I feel like this game could really benefit from some destructible environments. Something about the static top down view is.....lacking.

It's Hypnotica by Two Steps From Hell, their music gets a lot of trailer usage (that was the original intent of the music). One of my favourite artists, check out their album Invincible if nothing else. There's other tracks you're bound to recognise from other game/movie trailers too. The end of that was...weird. I was expecting there to be some payoff or something but it just showed the dudes smacking each other.

I don't care that the series has bled itself dry with unnecessary sequels, I still think a next gen Katamari game would make for a sick tech demo.

He does but they're limited. You have powers you'll gain over the course of the game. The one I remember from Eurogamer was a twister kind of attack and throughout the story Knack will take on other materials so he can be made from wood and then light himself on fire or use ice etc.

I think it speaks to the rising quality of downloadable and indie games to say that this reminds me of one.

ive got this pre orderd with my ps4 but I think it looks pants.

I'm getting this as a pack-in with the console, so I'll play it, but I gotta say I'm not that impressed. It looks like an ok beat-em-up, but it doesn't seem to have much to it besides just punching dudes and particle effects. Either they haven't really done a good job advertising, or this game really just doesn't have much else to offer.

oh HECK no. It looks NOTHING like Crash Bandicoot. Crash was an exceptionally challenging game and a TON of fun. This game looks like a button masher in the Final Fight model, but with even less nuance than that game had.

At least this game actually looks Next Gen. Its apparent straight away from the high res textures,lighting and particle physics. Most other next gen games have yet to be that noticeable an upgrade without looking at it a little closer, mainly due to them being cross gen. Knack on the other hand looks like a step forward at least and it shows the potential of the hardware better than the other games have imo

I like how crisp this looks, even if it lacks a ton of details. Should make for a nice change of pace. Glad I chose it over CoD: Ghosts as my free game.
